    Hey iKing,


    I don't want to sound like one of the typical annoying people who pester and whine "when is this being released" as I would much rather wait a long time for a really amazing mod over getting it quickly and crappy.


    However, I do have a question about the release date. Do you think a version of this mod might be available to the public by Christmas? If not, I would totally understand as you people do have lives, and you want the absolute best for this mod (as does most other people). I was just a bit curious.

    Well, there are already things that do this though. (Slime blocks and water)


    You say because the wool would look nicer and not bounce you, it should be added. I disagree. Just use water for no bounce and a resource pack for better looks.

    But regardless of all that, the simple truth is that some things in DWCM right now infuriate me beyond belief. There are some elements of gameplay or lack there of that **** me off to no end haha. I want to see those things fixed before we unleash the DWCM upon the world. One of these such things is the fact that through the history of the DWCM updates from beta 1.8.1, 1.2.3, 1.2.5, 1.5.2, 1.7.2 so much content was left behind for stupid reasons.


    Believe me, noone wants the public to be able to play more than anyone than myself. But if even I get pissed off and want to pull my hair out regarding some things, what do you think would happen if you were to attempt to use the same thing? I've seen accusations from...a certain other group of people....that I'm delaying this for ad revenue and patreon funds. This simply isn't true, more than half of the patrons of our campaign are false or havent pledged since their very first month nearly over a year ago. Our ad revenue is **** poor, by law i cant say how much but I can say that it takes about 5-6 months to get a single google payment at the minimum required amount haha. There is no money to be gained from this project, it cost's us more than we bring in. I myself am thousands of dollars in debt from college and cannot even pay our webhosting, but thankfully Yofreke (before mentioned former lead programmer) who owns the sever, is a great friend and team member and doesn't request blood & pieces of my soul in exchange for keeping the lights on. Doesn't mean I dont feel like **** when I can't pay him because the site doesn't bring enough money to pay the bills.


    But yeah, back to DWCM itself. It's taking so long simply because we do not have the programming manpower to get things done at lightning speed.


    I really don't know if I answered the question here. I rambled on quite a bit didn't I, well, im sure there's some nuggets of something that makes sense in there lol. But yeah, I hate the fact the public doesn't have access to DWCM yet, it's something I talk about daily to the team. 3 years is an absurdly long amount of time and I hate that fact.

    Before you quit reading, this isn't another "when will this be released" post. I know you have a life and you want the best for this mod.


    I do, however, have one question. Why has it taken nearly four years so far? Many mods that offer similar amounts of content, though not Doctor Who related, have come out in much shorter amounts of time.


    I know you want this bug-free, but a few months ago on the stages of pre-release form, this was said by you: Please note that testing has not begun yet however we hope to have the alpha being sometime soon and a open beta public release a few weeks after that!


    I wonder why that hasn't changed in a few months now. It doesn't seem that it would take that long to actually start the testing process.


    Thank you for your time reading this. I know this mod will be great! I just hope it doesn't take another four years.......

    posted a message on Don't allow mining the block you are standing on when sneaking.
    Firstly you said "the wiki says". Don't say that. The wiki isn't officially Mojang! Just because they say it is meant to do something doesn't make it true.

    This would be pointless and prevent people from mining while shifting! (I usually mine while shifting over something deadly like lava. That way I won't die and I can still get what I want.)

    You are a complete jerk. I agree, it isn't the best out there, but it would have been a LOT nicer if you would just not post at all, or maybe give some constructive advice instead of just tearing him down.

    You could have said "right now it isn't the greatest, but maybe you could *insert advice here*", not just telling him to give up hope.

    I'm sad to see this has been almost 3 years now and there still isn't a single release.



    I understand that it takes a while to make a mod, and you don't want it buggy, but that is why you release beta versions of the mod so everyone can try it!



    That's all I have to say, and I know you are all trying your hardest to make this a truly amazing mod, and I thank you for that, this will be amazing!

    What I normally do is just restart Minecraft and it works fine, but it might be that your Minecraft isn't allowed enough space, and thus has run out of memory.

    I still think Magic Launcher is the easiest, just check the box (or uncheck) and its on/off. He doesn't want all that other complicated stuff (I assume), he just asked for an easy way to manage the mods. :/

    You could always use Magic Launcher (It says 1.2.5, but that is Magic Launchers version, not the Minecraft)
