posted a message on Mod that removes the World Border and allows travel past 30 million Blocks

I have seen a YouTube video that showcases 1.12.2 without a World Border and the ability to interact with stuff beyond 30 million blocks. They also showcased teleporting hundreds of millions of blocks beyond the normal limit. The only issue is that the video poster did not release the mod for download(most likely to get more views/view time), and there are no tutorials online for removing the World Border and 30 million block limit for 1.12.2, let along removing the 30 million block limit.

I personally would like to have a mod like this publicly available(preferably a JAR mod as I assume the video poster modded the game that way), as it would be neat exploring far beyond the normal game boundaries(especially with the Far Lands enabled) and see if many of the bugs in older versions of the game are still present at these large distances.

wouldn't this make ender chests obsolete, as they would be objectively better than ender chests?

We were given Shulker Boxes which let us expand our inventory, and they are already better than Ender Chests pretty much. Heck, most people use Ender Chests just to store Shulker Boxes.

Banned from an anything goes clan PvP server because we befriended the Server Admins, infiltrated their base and took their god tier weapons... it should be noted that the admins regularly did this to other clans, so we gave them a taste of their own medicine, as they never suspected someone would bring down the Admin clan lolololol.

Sounds like the Admins were either young children or very triggered if they banned you for raiding their own clan.

posted a message on So...This new launcher has some HUGE issues and should not have been released
    Quote from FirEmerald»

Actually, the universal launcher DOES NOT auto-update so Mojang couldn't force a 2.0 universal launcher. Also, MCF doesn't provide support for Minecraft as a WHOLE if you aren't using an official launcher. It's part of the rules.

Well that is a good thing the universal launcher doesn't update by itself. But still, how many users requesting support for Minecraft have told what launcher they use? Not very many, because the chances of a launcher affecting the game are not very high. If they are denied support due to using the 3rd party launcher, then they would simply go and ask for support elsewhere, or lie and say they are using the official launcher.

I do understand the downsides of using a 3rd party launcher, but the pros of using a 3rd party launcher outweigh the cons, especially if the 3rd party launcher has way more features than the official launchers and is generally more stable to use.

I would probably look at the Instant Structures Mod or World Edit mod. Try removing them and seeing if the crash persists. Also, you should get this moved to the Modded Support section so more people can help you with the crash.

posted a message on Change your passwords IMMEDIATELY!

A major vulnerability for ALL websites that use CloudFlare have been affected by an exploit known as CloudBleed. This exploit has allowed for passwords for millions of websites to be leaked, including MinecraftForums and possibly other Minecraft-related sites. It is suggestion that you use 2FA(2-factor-authecation) and changer your passwords for any accounts on any sites immediately, since a huge number of sites were effected by this glitch.

You can view the unofficial lists of sites effected by this exploit(it's really long and curse.com is at the top of the list) here: https://github.com/pirate/sites-using-cloudflare

You can read the official statement about this bug by CloudFlare here: https://blog.cloudflare.com/incident-report-on-memory-leak-caused-by-cloudflare-parser-bug/

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I was rushing to get this out as this is one of the biggest CloudFlare vulnerabilities in the past few years.

A long time ago, I was a very shy person. I once logged onto a server after an hour or so of hesitating. When I got on, there were many different builds from other players filling the map. I quietly walked around—and seriously, I was totally quiet. No one on the server bothered to welcome me, and I was too shy to speak up. I just simply looked at the art of those builds. I do remember at one point another player was stalking me at a distance. That player was just following me and crouching to hide the name tag, but I still clearly saw the player peaking around the corner at me. Eventually, I got banned from the server. I still don't know why to this date. So odd.

That one person was probably a mod, and the players were probably communicating through PMs. They probably assumed that you were a griefer, troll, etc. because you didn't talk at all.

posted a message on Idea for HardCore game difficulty

This idea won't make Hardcore mode harder, it will make Hardcore mode incredibly cheap and unfair. Also, machine guns don't fit in Minecraft, and it is one of the most hated suggestions. If you really want to play with all of this insane stuff that you listed in your suggestion, then use a mod, because not everyone needs to have your idea of "HardCore" shoved down their throats.

    No Support.

    Quote from mikeskey»

If microsoft can't bug test their products BEFORE release then they have no business releasing an update. My fiance and I play together all the time and now her launcher forcefully updated to this new 2.0 crap and she is unable to launch our current modpack. The screen gets stuck on preparing and refuses to go any further. Is there a way to revert back to the old launcher or no? Also.....what is this 32 bit garbage......most gamers have 64 bit systems....get with the program microsoft!

I completely agree. Runs worse on my Windows 7 system than the old launcher did. Also, I ran the new launcher in a Windows 10 Virtual Machine, and it functioned far better. Why? Because the launcher was meant to run off of Windows 10. If they can't bother to make their launcher work without forcing people to Windows 10, then I will simply use a 3rd party launcher.
