Ok, so I decided that this will most likely be my final build for the computer I want. All I need is for someone to tell me if this is a good build and that everything will function together properly. Thanks in advance!
Drop to 8GB RAM. For the 14th time. It doesnt matter what your friends think,RAM DOES NOT EQUAL PERFORMANCE! (Hopefully you'll see that, and btw, 16gb ram wont make you any cooler.)
First of all, I'm not wasting my damn money to look cool. Having more RAM than someone else doesn't make you look cooler. And mostly everyone knows that RAM doesn't equal performance. So, there's no need to repeat it over and over again.
eh... if you are going to be so stubborn as to not get 8gb of ram then that build is as best as your going to do. Should run every single game you throw at it maxed out while recording. Have fun.
Ok...It's probably not the most necessary of upgrades, but I'm keeping my ram at 12 GB and that's the lowest it's going...But here it is with a good looking case - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ehms
I'm telling you... 16GB of RAM is totally USELESS, 90% of the time you won't even be using 4GB. Ram does not = performance. Either drop it down to 8gb and save some money, or drop it down to 8gb and upgrade something else. 16GB is totally useless you came here for advice so you should take it.
From what I started out with, I've taken a lot of advice...What else should I upgrade?
WHY do you need so much RAM? 8 GB is more than enough for most people
WHY the hell do you need the i7? You do know games today only use 1-2 cores, right? I5 2500k/3570k would be a much better deal
Use the money you save to buy a 6850/7850 instead of a 560. PSU? Eh, get a more reliable brand. Seasonic, Corsair, Cooler Master are all good makers. Don't cut corners on the PSU, because if you get a bad one, you'll fry your entire system. A Hyper 212 EVO is cheaper than your current cooler and just as good/better. If you aren't going to be overclocking, you won't even need a CPU cooler.
Just my 2 cents. We're just trying to help you here, and if you want to ignore our suggestions, feel free to. But at the end of the day, it's your money that's wasted, and not ours.
Well maybe if you took the time to see the new link, I have switched my parts to some of the suggestions I got.
