(I already searched this up and i saw no results, so I'm seeing if there is any way that hasn't been mentioned..)
Is there a way to mention members (who which have voted in a poll, or just purely for mentioning purposes) in a post? Besides that person commenting, and just 'quoting' them.
I don't really see how it's OP. If you could explain to me why you think it's OP I could possibly change it to make it less OP.
I think it's OP because a regular sponge (which has a main purpose of soaking up water..) would soak up LAVA. Which is, obviously flammable, would burn the sponge. (unless it had water, then I don't know what it would do then, water has a slight advantage over lava...).
There would be a thermometer in the corner of your screen that shows if your temperature is too high or low because if your temp is good it's green and if your too hot it turns red and if your too cold it turns blue. Also if you start to freeze the outer part of your screen turns blue, there is a message in the chat saying "You are starting to freeze" (or "Player Name is starting to freeze" on a server), and you slowly start loosing hearts. Also if you start to burn you catch on fire like you would if you touched fire or lava.
Also instead of going to find a snow biome you could just wait a couple of Minecraft days until it turns to Winter and it could snow right outside your house!
I like the full idea of the temperature. Just not... seasons, It seems better fit if all the seasonal based biomes were removed, but then that would make a big impact on the Minecraft community, and the game itself. Overall, this seems better fit for a mod...
as I said... what MOJANG wants. PLUS they would decide if they want to be paid. because if not it would be plagarism for they stole the whole thing from them. remember to read fully.
Then it's not really a suggestion. Mojang could always have done this from the get-go. Though, it would be very rare if Mojang added a mod. If anything, it would first be thought out by Mojang first.
Sorry... Just... No. Adding lucky blocks or any mod/ 'mod pack' would be completely insane for most users. Think about it, Hexxit, Attack of the B-team, etc. I don't think you would want those on a regular basis. Like if you want one removed, but hey, guess what, you can't, it's made in the GAME. Though some should be added, but those aren't usually the highest rated mods, or the most used.
I would like to see Chainmail armor to be craftable. But then there should be some other uses... (perhaps from other suggestions...)
Though if Chainmail Armor hasn't been able to be craftable yet, and its been in Minecraft for this long, there has to be a reason why it isn't craftable.

Then why have a "light" that makes everything dark? Though it could be used with beacons... hiding the pillar of light.

I don't know what you mean with the black light...It doesn't give off light? Then why have a light source there at all?..
