There is a suggestion thread for things like these. I have a unique idea for liquid transport that may or may not come up in the future. The key point is that liquids don't magically travel up.

TheLastAlchemist: I don't agree that this should be added at all. There are already at least one or two mods that do this already. Buildcraft handles liquids very well. Everything you suggest is already done with other mods.
My suggestion to you, is to just get Buildcraft to make your room full of molten metal. That's what I'm going to do. A giant underground corridor, filled with enormous glass tanks, filled with every type of liquid that exists. I can picture it now. It makes me happy.
Sorry I was thinking that it could be added to make it more of self supporting by the transfer of liquids.
Jul 7, 2013Mdiyo I think that you should add an item called seared piping which should have the seared tanks texture turned on its side and should be 16 pixels long and 8x8 pixels wide placed in the middle of the block area sort of like energy conduits from thermal expansion it should be crafted like a seared drain but with seared glass panes in replace of the empty crafting spots to get 8 of them they should be able to transport any liquid and there should be a tool that requires two tool rods made of seared stone and a seared stone tinker tool head that requires one ingot of seared stone to make all has to be done in the smelter and the tool should look like a mini-hammer if you right click on a side of the seared piping that is connected to something that can hold liquid with a seared tool it should pop open a gui with two sections with options for pump out pump in and active on Redstone signal active without Redstone signal or always active and you should be able to click on seared faucets with the tool and do the same thing and you should be able to make seared filters with seared tool rods in the middle and four corners of the crafting grid with seared ingots filling up the rest for three seared filters you should be able to place these on the seared piping and right click on it with the seared tinker tool and have it open up a gui to allow you to select what liquids can pass through and could you make it where seared tanks connected when touching vertically so it could be easier to pump liquids in to all the tanks and have a liquid ingot storage system. I think all of this should be added for easier moving of liquids in and out of the smelter and making a liquid storage room for ores.(Throughout this post I have called things seared ingots I mean the item version of seared bricks and the tools made using seared bricks should have slightly better than iron speed and durability.)Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Jun 25, 2013Mdiyo I am not quite sure if this should go on the suggestion thread because this Idea is not about a new item but could you have a vote about the less nerfed Heatscar spiders(yes I know it is from Natura) and the old slime caves about bringing them back into the game with four options: bring back the the Old Heatscar Spiders, Bring back Slime Caves, bring back both, and bring back neither.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
If the caves come back they should be revamped with blue water instead of green and the walls that don't have water touching them in the caves should be covered in a substance called slime blob which would grow in darkness and when harvested would drop a gelatinous slime(they should grow like vines on any side of a block and able to be obtained with a shovel) also somewhere in the cave system should be a room with an island in the middle surrounded by slimy water and the smallish island in the middle will have a king slime on it(because it makes sense that a king should have a castle or in this case a cave) and the king slimes should no longer spawn anywhere but there.

Hello Bright-eyes remember if your master treats you wrong don't give him all the materials from when you mine and to misbehave every now and then. Mdiyo remember to treat your animated stone golems nicely.

The tinkerer boots should make you run 2 times as fast and walk 50% faster and allow you to jump 2 blocks high and allow you to swim 50% faster and let you stand in fire.
The backpack should not interfere with your normal inventory but when you press o it should have the space of a chest above your inventory to expand it.
The tinkerer goggles should allow you to see a tooltip on all tinkerer blocks stating what they are and info about them while looking at them(not just in inventory) and should allow you to see all the stats of the tools in your inventory.
The recipes are like this with l's being leather and e's being empty spaces and s's being nether stars
The items should have no durability and each give the equivalent of leather armor.
Jun 15, 2013I have an idea for a ranged weapon it should be a blowgun and it should be able to shoot 4 times as fast as a bow and half the distance of a bow and the material of the blow gun shouldn't matter it just increases the durability it should be made with two stencils a mouthpiece with 0.5 cost and a dart chamber with the price of 1 and the darts should use a stencil called a dart stencil it should cost 0.5 to make 4 unattuned darts which would have a 50% chance of just flying in a random direction they should become a normal dart when they are put in a crafting grid with a feather and should have a 0% chance of miss-flying you should be able to put necrotic bones in a smeltery and get 1600mb of poison and if you put a dart on the casting table it should require 100mb of poison to make the dart a poison dart with wither 1 for 5 seconds and you can redo the process up to wither 4 for 5 seconds and the poison in liquid form should give you poison 4 and hunger 4 the wooden, gold and iron darts should break on contact but the gold darts should do critical damage if shot at a low angle and the diamond darts should be retrievable the blow gun should be able to be modified with up to 300 feathers for a distance up to 100m in a straight line without dipping and spider eyes to increase the length of poison darts up to 10 seconds.Posted in: Mods Discussion

This is because the 1.4.7 is basically an alpha version of this mod. It has a fraction of the functionality of the 1.5+ versions. And mDiyo has stated that no work will be done on old versions.
It's a Dev build, you'll have to figure it out as the instructions probably have not been written for it yet. (like the other books you get in game). You don't HAVE to get NEI but it can be quite helpful for getting blocks without actually crafting them.
