I experienced this error when trying to connect to my own Minecraft Forge server. Can someone please help? I have no idea what to do to fix this.

I already replaced the server config with the client one, so they are the same. I know that is not the problem. I think the problem is on line "6." in the pastebin log. "Mismatched items".

I forced a crash on the server and this is what I got. As you can see, the server thinks its a vanilla server, when its not. I changed the text color to red where I think the problem is.

I tried to put the forge files inside the minecraft_server, and the same thing happens. Forge creates the "mods" folder, but doesn't recognize that there are actually mods inside it. Or, if it does recognize these mods, it doesnt apply them to the game. As for starting the server with a run.bat file, I have tried that before with no results. However, I was using only 1GB of ram (1024M) instead of 2GB. Would that make a difference?

Edit: When I run the forge server with the run.bat file the cmd prompt gives me a message: The coremod "INSERT COREMOD HERE"* does ont have an MCVERSION annotation, it may cause issues with this version of Minecraft.

*The INSERT COREMOD HERE" is where my coremods's names were. This message repeated with all my coremods.

It's a forge server. You know, minecraft forge, but serverside.

No, what I'm saying is that pre 1.6 flan mods DON'T use forge. They use a different method of installation that involves a creation of a "flan" folder. Look on the wiki for greater details. Actually, after studying the crash log, it would appear that the crash has nothing to do with flans mod.

Edit: after looking at the log yet again, everything I said about pre 1.6 flans mod was wrong. Apparently, you got it to work, despite my own experiences.

You are aware that flan's mod doesnt work with forge prior to the 1.6 update for flan+forge? It appears you are using forge on a 1.5.2 flan's mod.

HELP! I cant seem to get my minecraft forge server running properly. I installed minecraft forge (for the server) using the auto installer. I put the mods I want in the "mods" folder and ran the server using the "minecraftforge-universal-1.6.2-9.10.0.792.jar". When I go on to the server I am not able to use any of the mods! I have them installed clientside and serverside, but minecraft still acts like a vanilla server. It is as if forge isn't recognizing the mods. I tried starting the server with a .bat file, but the same thing happens. Any help?

My NEI isn't showing up In my custom mod pack. I adjusted the GUI scale and hit the "o" button on my keyboard but nothing works. Minecraft forge recognizes the mod but doesn't actually show it in game. Any help?
Oh yeah, it's minecraft version 1.5.1
