Thank you! Unfortunatley it is still not working. I do have the current Minecraft and I do not have a modded or broken version. I do not have a virus and have put in othe new resource packs with not issue at all. I just dont get it. It shows up in the saves file but not on the screen where I can pick it as an option.
Can you post a couple of pics to show what you mean? Make sure your dragging the folder named "Jeoffrey's Chamber Map" into the saves in %AppData%/.minecraft/saves and not it's contents. (There might be /Roaming/ between AppData and .minecraft)
Also what is your computer: Mac, PC, etc. Also what is it running if it's pc (xp, 7, 8). Check your java version, too. The current version should be java 7 update 25. You can check by going to www.java.com/verify/ .
If none of these work you can try redownloading the whole .zip of the map and resource pack because a file may have been corrupted. You're selecting singleplayer not multiplayer right?
Hi, new minecraft mom here.....I have been trying for over an hour now to load this pack for my son and I just can't figure out what I have done wrong. I have followed the instructions perfectly but it doesnt show up in the resource pack until I get into the file to find the map and then drag it into the saves but it still wont load. I see it in the resouce packs and it lets me pick it but it does nothing. I know I am probably missing a setp and it is a simple one I am sure......but help!!! He is driving me insane! Thanks......Liberty.
If you have a outdated version (current is 1.6.2) of minecraft:
Get the new launcher
Run (and it should update) -make sure your logged in correctly (as in your online)
Put the resource pack in the resource pack folder (the whole .zip file) in your .minecraft folder
Put the "Jeoffreys Chamber Map" file (not it's contents) in the saves folder in your .minecraft folder
Run Minecraft and go into options and select Resource Packs and select the "Jeofrey's Chamber Resource Pack"
Go into the world and enjoy!
If you have a modded version of minecraft:
Delete contents of your .minecraft folder (because 'force updating' doesn't get rid of extra files that mods can make which can cause trouble when adding new mods)
Re-download the files by starting up Minecraft
If you don't already get the new launcher and update
Put the resource pack in the resource pack folder (the whole .zip file) in your .minecraft folder
Put the "Jeoffreys Chamber Map" file (not it's contents) in the saves folder in your .minecraft folder
Run Minecraft and go into options and select Resource Packs and select the "Jeofrey's Chamber Resource Pack"
Go into the world and enjoy!

Delete contents of your .minecraft folder (because 'force updating' doesn't get rid of extra files that mods can make which can cause trouble when adding new mods)

If none of these work you did something wrong or you may have a virus. Check back on the steps you made. If your computer is bad or old you have a greater risk of having a virus on your computer.
I once had a virus that was pretty nasty which blocked minecraft, my anti-virus software, and other various programs. Even if AVG or your anti-virus software says it removed it, you might still have it, and various programs still won't work.
If you think you have a virus on your computer run your anti-virus program and if most your programs still don't work call a trusted technician that specializes in viruses.
It wouldn't be too hard to make a "note command block" mod. I would attempt to do it if I knew java language, but at the moment only know VB and am studying C. You should talk to someone about that if you haven't yet.
