Inspired by Voltz, this mod pack seeks to be a well rounded tech based pack, with a focus on PvP between small teams of players
Use Mekanism machinery to create elaborate factory's and production lines, while maintaining pollution levels to avoid environmental damage (or not).
Ore is generated in rare but large amounts, meaning fighting over resources is possible, while also adding a sense of achievement when discovering a ore vein.
Rain ICBM's on your enemy's bases to completely destroy them.
Reason for interest: I have been looking a Modded server since I am sick of playing alone, It just gets really boring after a few hours so I am looking to join and just have a great time.
Previous experience with mods: My Experience is mainly with less tech mods but I am trying to learn them but I have being playing with mods for a few years now.

All ores in the pack aside from AE2 crystals and a few other things spawn in large but rare clumps. So once you find a vein of iron/copper etc it will last you a while. If you are struggling to find ores there is a ore finder and the /lods command so you can see what I mean.
On the server this has encouraged trade between teams, as one team may not have osmium (important for machines) but has copper, while another team has the opposite.
Haha yes, the serpents and gorgans etc are added by Ice And Fire, which is a great mod imo. Adds lots of interesting creatures into the world. Animalium adds the bears, piranhas, wild dogs... So yeah day time isn't completely safe anymore haha

We are looking to build a fun, mature community of people to play a PvP/PvE tech based custom mod pack, with ICBMs, nuclear reactors and antimatter nukes and more. While being based around PvP, we hope to eliminate the unfairness of always online PvP, such as having no raiding/attacking bases of offline players, no combat logging etc. We believe this will foster a friendly community that respects one another.

What this server is:
This server aims to be a team based PvP/PvE environment while still remaining friendly between players. The custom mod pack being used is tech based, while instead of using the vanilla ore spawning system we are using Large Ore Deposits to completely replace it. Meaning that almost all ores spawn in large, but rare amounts, which means that PvP over resources is not only viable but may become necessary. This will also encourage trade and alliances, betrayals... all that good stuff... something that can often be lacking from always online PvP, in any game.

PvP Limits:
PvP will have certain rules and restrictions to make sure the game is fair.
No offline raiding
No combat logging
Players will not be able to mine or place blocks in another teams claimed area but will
Be able to use items (Such as a rocket launcher)
Be able to kill mobs
Be able to interact with blocks (i.e open doors and chests)
This set up means that players will not be able to just mine a wall and be inside your base, it will either require advanced items, such as a rocket launcher or an icbm, or for them to be able to get around your security systems. Since doors, buttons, chests etc are interactable, we have the mod Security Craft which adds blocks like keypads and scanners to open doors which will add some much needed security to your base. Security Craft also adds ways to hack the security systems.
