Wow, cheeseman, ever heard of the edit button before you post 5 times in a row? You could just have all that information in one long post instead of bumping the thread constantly.
Calm down. I judged each skin at totally different times and it made no sense to post all ratings in one post. I wanted to make it easier for people to find what their rating was.
I do believe that those armor skins are for the mobs in Survival, but they fit the original skin.png as well.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I pretty much knew that's what they were for, but I just wanted to take notice to the fact that it fits the player model as well.
Note that the colors in the pictures are different from what you see in-game. For some reason, ImageShack distorts the color information. It makes the darker colors tinted brown and makes everything weird looking. So this mod does look slightly more realistic in-game than in the pictures.
I have added a GUI mod as well as a crosshair mod to my terrain mod. They are all in the "Soft Mod" folder inside the zip folder.
I added a few new pictures and posted a download link. Apparently Filefront is a security threat, so I added a MediaFire link too. That may not be any better, though. Could somebody tell me a better file hosting site?
I am sure everyone already knew this, but there is a skin in the minecraft.jar that contains an armor skin that fits the character template perfectly. When added to the default skin, it looks like this:
There is also a chain-mail skin in the same folder.
Could it be?
Why does Notch make skins for stuff he hasn't even implemented yet?
Okay, it's not that realistic, but it's really soft on the eyes. And I think my textures for gold and silver should be the default gold and silver skins. That and the crosshair are my favorite part of this mod.
Now I would like some feedback. Be harsh if you have to; if it sucks, tell me. What blocks should I improve?
I myself would like ideas for future texture mods. I just finished my first texture mod, and I want to make a new one, but I can't think of any themes.

I'm sure, though, that griefers' servers (like some of the ones I've encountered) would be full of them with messages like "COCK! *****! CUM! etc."

EDIT: Here be the tutorial.

I modified the information about the mod.
I would still love feedback!
