Whenever I send out my pidgey to fight, it's a one-hit level-up... It's cool but it feels like cheating, it is now level 8 and is still doing this. Is this a bug? If so, it should be fixed, it's making me go crazy @[email protected]
Yes that is most likely a bug. Do you have a lag problem because that could also explain it, i.e. your pidgey is hitting the baddie multiple times before the enemy mob registers it and dies but the pidgey still gets the xp since pokemobs get xp per hit
Can you make the spawn rates waaaay higher? I can't seem to find anything but gastly >.>
Hes working on it as we speak. Sea is changing the spawning so that pokemon only spawn in caves and when walking through tall grass. What we have now is minecrafts fault because it has both persistant mobs (meaning they dont depsawn and nothing respawns on that chunk, so caught or defeated pokemon will not respawn in that area)and minecraft makes them spawn in herds of the same species.
I did do that. >_<;; It's just frustrating. I don't hack, so I want to try to legitly craft pokeballs, train pokemon, etc. Not seeing pokemon yet seeing apricorns (or vice versa) makes me want to cry. I spent two in game weeks looking so hard to no avail. T_T
I have the same problem and the only mod I have on there is timber mod. But I've made multiple worlds while making sure the mod was working. If I saw a pokemon (for example I spawned in front of two vulpixes) I never see apricorn trees. If I see apricorn trees, I never see any pokemon. On my most current world I have 12 pokeballs and 4 great balls (probably can make more, including ultra, but I'm looking for pokemon, not smelting stone).
It's really obnoxious. What are solutions?
Try uninstaling your mods and then installing pokemobs before timber. Thats what I did.
which brings me to a new part of pokemobs. pokemon will now only spawn while you walk through tall grass or while in caves. not sure when i am going to add this though but it should solve the spawning issues
Are there going to be hostile peaceful and nuetral pokemobs according to species, location, level,or even light level (etc..) for that matter?
Now dont get me wrong, i am a huge fan of this mod. In my opinion its much more fun than the Aether mod, which had recieved so much anticipation only to become forgotten the next week. Pokemobs will not proform as such, instead i believe it will be very popular. But I digress. Im sure this has been seen before, and for all i know may be intended (if so i'm sorry), but i have seen that once pokemon spawn on a chunk(which is rare to happen in my experience) no pokemon will ever spawn on that chunk again. In the real games pokemon would still be in the tall grass after you find one or two. Once again im sry if this has already been mentioned and is being worked out or even if it was intended, just giving feedback.
i installed the mod and also deleted META-INF, but when i start the game like usual it says MOJANG and than suddenly minecraft disappeares. what should i do?
Thats what happened to me for the longest time! I would suggest redownloading all the mods (due to possibly corrupted files) and downloading the latest MCpatcher (if you dont already have it) and go about it from there ( there are instructions on the mcpatcher site on how to download mods thru it) installing one at a time, modloader first, pokemobs last, and any other mods after pokemobs.
Fixed it and i love this mod! :biggrin.gif: It turns out that i did have a couple corrupt files and i had to reinstall and redownload a couple times for it to start working but it was worth it!

To sum it up hes taking away normal spawning of pokemon and instead making them spawn when u are in a cave or when walking thru tall grass. I love it!
