Did no one see my screenshot? :C

I did, but just had nothing to say about it.

I'll just take advantage of this to make you one question, ¿How did you make those spiral-like patterns with the leaves? You made them with MCEdit or by hand?

Hey Blade, I have a little problem while I'm playing The Artisan, I hope you can help me:

I'm in the last area, I activated the two levers from the Ironworks and the Barracks and then a message displayed on the chat saying that the portal was finally opened.

I went to the portal and it was just a hollowed 5x5 bedrock square with nether brick. I checked the scoreboards and they seem to be right (Ironworks=1, Barracks=1) but it just doesn't open.

PD: I really like your structures :D

Wow, I love the design of the intersection, pretty solid. It looks more like a natural concept rather than a water themed intersection.

My favorite pics are the first and the last ones. You could place the player's base in that little clay beach that appears in the first image, looks like a very peculiar place :D

Hey! I just came here to show you the actual grid from Inert Empire. I'm getting closer to the end of the map, I've made the fourth intersection but I'm going to remake it after I finish writing this post.

    Progress Report: #1

I was going to make one of these progress report thingies a long time ago, but like I said, my pc restarted while I was writing it.

I spent like two (2) months without openning Inert Empire because of the lack of inspiration to work on it. Yesterday I started working again, I still have to finish RotR (Resurgement of the Reinforcements) itself and a second part that features a catacomb theme. Although I haven't finished Intersection 3, I wanted to work on Intersection 4 and I finished it after 2 failed attemtps. When I first finished the intersection I was fine with the result, but now there are better ideas coming into my mind that I will test.

Today I wanted to do something, so I started fixing some aesthetics in the early areas of the map (the ones that I made when I was learning about mapmaking). I modified Impala's aesthetics and gameplay, so it's now called "Impala Mines", I also improved Int3's block variation adding some cobblestone and glowstone to make it look better.

Outside of the map, I've been working on the loot system. I had a loot of fun making custom items, even tho I had bad moments with them (I have changed my loot system 4 times, but it is going to stay in its current layout). I also want to give the loot system an educative touch, so every special item will have a book with the description of the item and the definition of its name.

This progress note was quite long and ends here, but before I finish it I'll leave some spoilers from areas, loot structure and possibly other things.

    Loot structure:

First Class: The first items given from the map. They are not powerful, but will help advancing in the map.

Second Class: This class is stronger. The items have a moderate strenght, higher than the first class.

Third Class: The most powerful items of the map are in this class. Those items appear in a common way at the Int4 and Int5 areas.

Unique Items: As the name says, this kind of items appear once, never twice. Most of them have possitive attributes for the player.

Forbidden Class: This items have been cursed in some way. They will mostly have negative attributes on the player and strong enchantments.

Special Potion: This class has only custom potions. Some of the potions have a potency classification that varies from 1 to 3, with three being the most powerful potions. The name of the potions also varies; Light gray for potency 1, gold for potency 2, bright red for potency 3.

Note: The examples for every class are in spanish, I will translate them when the map is finished.

    And the modified areas:

The modified Impala -> Impala Mines (still in progress)

    Semi-modified Intersection 3: Lucidity

You may want to erode a little bit more the lower part of the cavern. In the photo there is an obvious round shape, well, most of the cave has them. Otherwise, it looks good, I like the ice-lava combination :D

I think when I modify an object in MCEdit if I don't put a "label" on it (see pic below) nothing appears even if the modif does work!

    -snip-

Most of the times I've done that I get a crash in Minecraft. If I modify the item without putting a label and place the mouse over it, Minecraft automatically crashes.

    Hey people.

I've had this on my mind since a long time ago, ¿How do I enchant something and HIDE the name of the enchantment? I know that it is possible in 1.8 with the "Hide Tags" tag (redundant), but I want to make it in 1.7.

I hope you can help me with this :D

    Guess who finished his map...

    By Carlus

When I started making this map, I was thinking that I wasn't going to finish it because of the time, but somehow I figured out a map with nice aesthetics and gameplay in this short period of time. The map is called "EoC" because the thematic for each area is a different colour.

Other thing, I made all the custom items and spawners in 3 hours (thanks to AllUWant Inv. Editor), thats why the map doesn't have much variety of them.

Map type: Linear, monument at the end

Objectives: 3 Mandatory (Purple, Brown and Blue essences)

    Difficulty: Easy

My map is aesthetically finished, all I have left now is making/placing loot and spawners, if internet does not troll me, I will be able to update the map, here is the actual and final layout:

    :Green: Aesthetically Finished

    :Rose: Placed Loot

    :Indigo: Placed Spawners

    -------------------------------------

    :Green: Spawn area

    :Green: Voidwalker's Pathway (purple wool)

:Green: Eyes Of The Remnants (brown wool)

    :Green: Sodden Threat (blue wool)

    :Green: Wictory Monument (wool monument)

And some pictures to make your hype go pierce the skies:

EXTRA: Wicked eyes staring at you, thirsts of blood and pain...

EXTRA2: Suck it internet, I was able to upload the pictures of the map. I should be able to upload the map itself by tomorrow, or if I finish the loot and spawner placement by today I'll publish it ASAP.

I said many times that I wasn't going to participate in this jam (I lied).

I'm making a mini map with three objectives, maybe it's going to be late because of my internet problems, but I'll publish it anyway when it's finished.

My worst problem will be the loot, because I want to put custom items but all the ones I have are in spanish, so I'll just have to put normal items.

You can read the layout of the map in the spoiler below:

Spawn area/Purple Wool: Voidwalker's Pathway (aesthetically finished)

Brown Wool: Eyes Of The Remnants (not started)

Green Wool: Livingwood Forest (not started)

*Bonus Emerald: Translucid Dreams (not started)

    * = May not be included in the map.

I wanted to put a spoiler of the purple wool but I spent 15min uploading a photo to imgur and it didn't uploaded.

The first monument (Like Fang said) is too flat, the second one looks very similar to the one Sketch made for Pillars Of Creation, and the third one is kind of the same thing as the first one but with depth. I think you can do better with your monuments, make something spectacular.

The monument of a map does not necessarily have to be a linear thing; for example, the monument of Inert Empire is a big hall with "shrines" at the sides, the red and black wools are placed in a throne. See what I did? I used a whole hall to put my monument, so you can do that. I hope you show us more monument designs.

EDIT: Response to Vicabo's post about his monuments.
