I saw the fridge TARDIS has invisible demats, monitors etc. how do you get that, i need it for my Toyota room, Cus i'm using the Capaldi Console block... and it doesn't do a thing
So you know how when one moves the cursor over an item slot in a GUI, like a fuel slot in a furnace or the 3x3 grids in dispensers and crafting tables, the grey square is highlighted? I was wondering if there was some way to retexture that blank, as I'm using GUIs for a project and this highlighing is really getting on my nerves.
So I was trying to have a Giant wear a Coal Block, since that was the JSON file I modified for a project, but the command I used didn't seem to work. The command output was positive, but the block couldn't be seen. I tested it with an iron helmet too, and that worked. Is it because of the resource pack? Do blocks not scale on Giants? I honestly don't know.
It's about 100 blocks to my girlfriend's base from the near end of mine, and if I use the Elytra tower on the far end of mine, it takes about ten seconds to get there. And the majority of that time is spent redirecting in midair to keep from flying into the side too fast. It's seriously not remotely worth it to use a plane in that case.
Now, 2000 blocks might make more sense, but there's a mushroom island more than a map's span away from my base, and it takes about 20 seconds to get there, too. It's simply not worth it; any distance that could conceivably require a plane can be covered with elytra. Even beyond the effective distance for a straight glide, the sine wave glide can be used with a Punch II bow to go far beyond any reasonable distance; indeed, that alone got me going so fast I was running into loading issues that froze me in midair. And the benefit of gliding is that, instead of using some hard-to-find fuel like oil that would still necessitate refinement procedures of some sort, my fuel is only the food I need to recover health from shooting my own feet and the minimal XP to repair my bow engine. I don't need a plane; I am become plane.
This is essentially exactly what I was thinking, but way much better written than I could have done.
But airplanes are like the 50s too you can explore the world using airplanes
Just because ONE item (the Jukebox) is somewhat "like the 50s" (even though it has more similarities to a phonograph) doesn't mean we need computer-powered airplanes in the same world as one with witches dwelling in swamps, three-headed flying skeletons from another dimension, lanky black teleporting creatures that are nine feet tall, and a dragon guarding her egg on a floating island in a deep void surrounded with pillars embedded with exploding crystals.
And 200 blocks is, like, only two American football fields long. A plane needs more space to take off than that.

Maybe just block-pick it?

I think this is pretty neat, given the lack of Elytra-exclusive enchantments in the game. You also explained it well.

Hello,
I was wondering if there was an argument for target selectors based on effects, like "effect=1" would target entities with a speed effect.
Thanks!

I... I don't see any reason to have this, really. You've even made your idea pointless by saying there's a third-party option.

Hey sixfootblue,
Just have a few ideas for the next bonus chest. Te first two are related, but the third isn't.
1. Robes (These would look somewhat like Ben Kenobi's robes from Star Wars, base is leather armor.)
2. Lightsaber (Like Concrete swords, but base could be iron or diamond, and maybe fire aspect.)
3. Nintendo Switch Dock (In a similar vein to the PS4 and X-Box helmet-pieces, just a Switch dock.)
Thanks for reading!

Okay... that really sucks. There should be some sort of file for resource packs that has both that and the border around item names.

You're supposed to post your own suggestions...

I guess that Giants don't function the way Zombies do?

Still doesn't show.

This is the exact command that I used:
/replaceitem entity @e[type=Giant] slot.armor.head minecraft:coal_block 1 0

I see what you did there...

Welp,
My country's doomed.
