The mod is basically a mod adding in weapons/armour/tools that are extremely OP.
There are two tiers Slime and Jerry, Slime does 64 damage and armour is better than un-nerfed Diamond.
Jerry does 200 damage on a critical hit, and over 100 damage normally. Jerry armour is way better than un-nerfed diamond.
It adds in a new ore called slime ore, which gives a new item called a slime shard, which you can craft too.
To create any slime tool, you must have blaze rods and a certain amount of slime gems, which are crafted with 8 slime shards around a block of diamond. Then going further 8 slime gems around a block of diamond makes a Jerry gem which with Blaze rods instead of sticks (Same with slime), are created like any tool.
The main complaint is that it is extremely OP and pretty easy to make thanks to the Rotatick/Cave Bug dropping diamonds.
Hope that helped.
I'm doing good, you?
It helped a lot; seems to be another OP mineral/tool mod, like many before.
Yeah, thankfully Aginsun already stated that "intentional mod incompatibility" in NOT on their plans. I mean, if the player REALLY needs to add that kind of stuff to his game, it is the way he wrote his own rules, and modding is all about that.
EDIT: I am... praying that ants sleep so I can come back in the morning an my PC is not overrun by then... and then kills those bastards in their sleep! Goodnight!
some people are paranoid that they cant play with the cptn and some though with the udate of divine saying they will have damage rebalance, people assumed jerrys mod wont work. If you also look on there twitter you will see thats not the case ;p
Oh, I follow the twitter; i just wanted to know about the mod in question.
Ok, since my week was a crapton of work, and right now I got a break from the attacks of the ants against my computer table (I am not even joking about this one), let me ask about the whole Jerry mod - as I do not watch Sparklez channel; what is the mod and what was the problem.
No, I gave up. There doesn't seem to be much interest for mods which are made to be incompatible with virtually everything else.
Wow, thanks for letting me know, anyway.
I intended to play it a bit, for a series about Cubeism research, but since I can not find the original challenge for Cynia in the original topic of Cubeism, I cannot make a complete "documentary" on it, so I won't. For now.
Downloaded this yesterday and started playing with it a little this morning. Great mod! But the sapling and wood texture isn't showing up in the Creative GUI.
I have several other mods installed, so it could be incompatibilities, but I just wanted to see if anyone else is having an issue, as well.
EDIT: Wood texture shows up; must be a different wood texture file from another mod. Sapling isn't there, though.
They are not fully implemented yet. For now, the tree leaves only drops Cuties. As soon as he adds a way to obtain it in game, the sapling sprite will be there.
Hahaha, just to let you know - The flies were actually a joke I made with Damoniy - They *may not* be on the mod next update as they never meant to be here.
(I reskinned the flying pigs to test their skins, and made it look like flies to test their parts... but I hid the file as I send him the textures just to joke around.)
I hope you guys like the new art direction this mod is taking. Sugestions and (constructive) critics for the textures are welcome.
I finally found someone who writes more than me on posts, and I understand now how half the things I post are completely lost or ignored. It is not a critic, just an epiphany. :/
I surely have to read it later. A second opinion might help me understand what bugs me inside this mod - I like it, but the ammount of content is so large it is hard to find the guide line to sync everything.
(Also, until I know which blocks are going to remain or be removed in next update, I have to halt my map creation. Again.)Oh, yeah:
Decided to drop in to say hello. I've joined the DivineRPG team, and will be helping to update the mod over to 1.5, and continue it further hopefully. I'm not exactly the fastest coder in the world, but 3 developers get the job done faster than 2, on most occasions.
The progress in 1.5 is going well, there's lots still left to do as we are cleaning up the mod a bunch and also adding new features, hope you guys still remain patient, it'll be worth it, XolovA will keep you updated with important info like always.
Welcome aboard. This is a good mod and we all - some in more impatient ways than the others - want it to be at its best always. Just don't forget to sleep and breath.
I have only one request. It is a simple request. It is a request that I feel would be really well done =P. Let us cook Crab Claws. Farming Crabs for EXP is really lucrative, but they drop a large number of crab claws. Besides a few weapons, they are useless. Might I suggest we be able to cook them that they may provide food saturation and food recovery equal to Steak? It would be a great way to find food.. in a pinch.
I second that. There is a lot of small additions that would enrich the experience of the players. Sure, the focus of the mod is the battle challenge, but it is clear to all of us that this mod changes Minecraft completely once it is installed - no reason to not go all out now.

I am a sucker for different ideas, and this one will give a really good series to make!

What? They are passive on the Ether unless provoked - in this case they never stop until they die.

Ad.fly is broke today. If the mirror is not direct, we all have to wait.

Also, go download Feed The Beast launcher and play DivineRPG there. No version issues will be found that way.

Ehehe, whatever make you guys happy!
