To be honest I downloaded this pack a while ago but didn't use it very often for its lack of side grass, even though it looks slightly strange. Other than that though I really love your pack! The enemies really crack me up (especially the Ghasts hahaha! That face gets me every time.) so it gives me more incentive to not play on peaceful :wink.gif:

You know Moocman, I know exactly how you feel, because you know what? I've been thinking the same thing, I was here before infinite maps, I was here before Infinite maps was even going into motion, lurking around the community without a login, and not actually creating one until a few months back, and I know what you mean by the small group of people that was the community.
Since I've been thinking about it so much though, I realized that with a game like this, a game that's so fun, and anyone can enjoy it, you can't keep it a secret, and you can't not let people play this game, and you can't tell people that they can't talk to their friends about it, because Minecraft is huge, REALLY huge.
Don't give up on Minecraft though, because the way I figure it, once SMP comes around, we can become that small community again, everyone in their own servers, with their own friends and people that they like from the forums, coming together and doing what Minecrafters do best, which is being ****ing bros with each other. So I hope you at least take something from this point of view, and maybe really love Minecraft again.

My friend stole my only pair of 3D glasses. It was fun while it lasted, although it was reaaaaallly glitchy in /indev/ so I figured it didn't work in Alpha very well either. Now that I think about it I really want those glasses back despite glitches :sad.gif:
I know someone figured out how tall the player is, and I myself knew it at one time, but now I can't recall what it was, and can't find it on the forums anymore. But along with the player height, I would also like to know the dimensions of each body part, (i.e. The legs, the arms, the torso, and the head) because some day I plan on making a minecraft-guy suit for like Halloween or something, and knowing the real-life scale would be incredibly helpful. So provide any info. you can!
I am also having this problem, but its awfully strange because I was using this exact same graphics card as before, and now all of the sudden I get 'Pixel Format not accelerated', it could also be the fact that I just installed windows 7 again, but it was working before with it. The only thing that's really changed is the fact that I upgraded to x64 bit. Any solutions?
I love the alphabet system you made! I will most assuredly use it, even with the addition of signs coming (Just to confuse new people). One thing I would like to throw out there just for the RP aspect is a Minecraft measurement system, I call them 'Torches' 1T or one 'Torch' Would be the equivalent of walking 16 cubes, because thats the amount of light a torch gives off.
