No, there's a company that calls themselves Edge, they trademarked the word "Edge", and sue everybody that uses the word. They sued EA over Mirror's Edge and lost. They've also sued several other companies. Basically all Edge does is.. nothing of importance, just suing people. -

Oh I didn't mean use Timber without ML or MCF. I meant remake Timber to not use ML or MCF. Which is also not a solution.

I have no idea. I've posted in Magic Launcher's thread about this... they have to fix it.
You're welcome. It took me a bit to figure it out myself, because I don't actually play Minecraft anymore and the new folder setup confused me. Hence why I just deleted /.minecraft/ for a fresh start to see what actually matters (like, the /.minecraft/mods/ folder is deprecated now).
It's fine though, your posts haven't actually frustrated me, I'd like Magic Launcher to work with Timber too. I just don't like taking the blame for this, because the mod works fine without the launcher.
But I do mind that Lumberjack mod. He PM'd me a while ago asking to take over Timber and I said no... Regardless, this is a thread about Timber, I don't appreciate it when people come in here and advertise other mods.
I'm going to make a video on how to install the Timber mod manually.

I kinda recommend deleting .minecraft and running the launcher to redownload it. Clears out all useless stuff from previous moddings and versions and blah.
Go to your versions folder. Make a copy of the 1.6.2 folder inside and rename it to "1.6.2.modded" or something. Rename the jar and json file inside of that folder to what you renamed the folder to. Open the json file and change "1.6.2" to whatever you renamed it to. Open the jar in that folder and delete META-INF and add ModLoader's files. Create a folder called mods inside of the 1.6.2.modded folder. Put Timber.zip inside that folder.
Open the Minecraft launcher, create a new profile. Make the profile use your 1.6.2.modded folder. Launch game.
Also, the only way to fix the Magic Launcher problem is to not use ModLoader or Minecraft Forge, which is what that guy did. That's not a real solution to me. I have been trying to get Timber to work with Magic Launcher myself, and nothing is working. Not even with Minecraft Forge instead of ModLoader.

The config file is working fine for me, what mods are you using? I tested it just a minute ago, removing 271 (wood axe) from the IDs list and the wooden axe doesn't Timber anymore.
That toggleKey option was taken out a LONG time ago, btw.

Because I don't know what the hell is wrong? I don't use Magic Launcher, so why would I know what is wrong? All I know is that a bunch of mods don't work with Magic Launcher and if that's the case, it really isn't my problem. This is the kind of bullshit that makes me not bother to update any of my other mods.
And obviously that other alternative would work, it doesn't rely on ModLoader or MCF. Which is the problem with Magic Launcher, based on the complaints I'm getting, the launcher is pretending Timber relies on something it doesn't. I wonder if it's just a coincidence that the thread you posted of the Timber alternative is made by one of the guys that asked if he could update Timber for me.
