    Intel® HD Graphics 4000

    I can confirm that this is an error specifically with this card. I also have the Intel HD 4000 and am having the same error.

    Quote from Yumenozu

    That's definitely too weak for MC. My mother has that Chip on her Laptop and MC was laggy as heck on it. If you're using a PC, try to get a proper Graphic Card. (I for example use the Nvidia GT 240, which is still not a really good card but it works fine with MC on "not uber" graphic settings ^^)

    While you're right that any other card on the market is better than the stock Intel one, this one is still very decent considering Intel's past GPU attempts. Your mother might have had a similarly named card, but the one being referred to here is able to run Minecraft on max settings with vanilla, as far as my experience with it goes, without any problems at all.

    You might want to give credit to http://www.youtube.com/user/Madnes64, where many of these buildings are from. You said you used tutorials, but you never really gave a proper shout-out to him. Just putting that out there, anyway.

    Aside from that, I do like the landscape you've chosen. A very scenic little place with a nice town layout.

    Quote from Creepkins

    As far as I see form this picture, these icons are only 64x64 bit and the icons that I provide have the 4x quality as these ones do.

    Does that mean you are answering with a yes? I asked if they were the same resolution so that if I were to download them they would match the ones I already have in resolution. However you pointed that yours are not isometric, so I won't be downloading either way. Great job with them though.

    I'd like to start off by saying that these are stunning. If I had money I would pay you for a YouTube background, but since I don't I'm going to request an avatar. I'm looking for an 800x800 image of my in-game avatar in a similar style as the first avatar up there.
    Here's a picture of my skin.

    Thank you.

    Hi, I've got my own collection of these, and was wondering if they are 256x. The ones I have are, and before downloading would like to know if they'll be the same resolution as the rest. Thank you.

    posted a message on Does Squid affect the mob spawning cap for hostiles?
    The third picture is your problem. Multiplayer. If you are the only one online it should work fine, but if others are on, they will spawn mobs where they are as well, which will contribute to the overall cap. If you want peak efficiency, just use it when nobody is online or when they're all in the Nether or End.

    While the logic is there, this design is very bulky and can be condensed quite a bit.

    I used glass in this image to show where the torches are, but you would use stone or some other solid material if you were to actually build this.

    Here is the same machine, only with stone in the place of the glass from the previous image as to show the difference.

    **Side note: You are able to adjust the timings on the repeaters as to make it faster or slower. I tried some settings and this was the fastest I could go before the machine outran me. With slower speeds, I was able to empty my inventory before it refilled.

    But then wouldnt it be harder to place blocks?

    It's already possible in 1.3 pre-release. You are able to orient logs sideways.

    posted a message on [1.4.6] 3D Items - new update! [v1.6.2]
    I've been using this mod for a while now, and I have to say: I love it. I'm not too fond of the Forge dependency, mostly because I don't use Forge for anything else that I currently use and I'm less than willing to install it just for one mod. That being said, I think I will stick with the Optifine version and not update, even if it has some bugfixes.

    That is called a rising edge, or falling edge monostable circuit. Rising edge triggers when the power goes from 0 to 1, and falling edge when 1 to 0.

    A whole plethora of rising edge designs:

    posted a message on How do you get shears ?
    Punch tree -> Get wood
    From wood -> Planks
    From Planks -> Wooden pickaxe
    From wooden pickaxe -> Stone pickaxe
    From stone pickaxe -> Iron
    From Iron -> Shears.
    In a nutshell.

    Now that the portable version has crafting, it's the same as the PC version, as far as I am aware.

    Quote from GeekyCompz

    Thanks, RS Lamps would take a lot of more work as redstone will activate multiple lamps. Making this HARD. But someone else out there could try that as a challenge.

    I found that the hardest part of this was find angles for the screenshots that showed off how it worked. >_<

    Grey -> Rising edge detectors
    Dark grey -> The bulk of the circuit. Anything not a part of something else is this colour.
    Black -> The line that checks if the combination is correct or not.
    Pink -> Toggle blocks. Used as the block that the pistons toggle.
    Anything else -> Decorative

    This is the faceplate. Circle Stone Bricks are the inputs. I attempted to match the panel format you used, but afterwards realized my button was one block too high. Ahh well.

    This is a top-down view of the three rising edge detectors. I adapted the same design you used, but had a horizontal styled one for the lowest row.

    This was how I powered the bottom lights.

    Here's a side view of the entire thing.

    This is the output that goes down to the door. There's also a button on the inside that links into there and opens the doors whether the combo is right or wrong.

    This is a very good design. I use it. It has four generators that all feed into a central column, which might be as good as what you need.
