Thaumcraft is a very long standing favorite of mine. Very fond memories of TC 2.
IC2 used to be amazing, but it's taken a Meh. turn since Tekkit Classic days, and the EU system kinda died. Now the RF mods like EnderIO and Big Reactors in particular are quite.... Fancy. FTB Infinity has mod I've ever liked put in a mega mod pack. Glorious.
Welp, the title sums it up. I don't want Win 10, it will likely break all my shortcuts, yada yada yada. So I was wondering what I need to do to prevent it from auto updating or installing. Windows has gotten more persistent in it's nagging, and I'm kind of concerned.
What I've tried:
Deleting the Win 10 files on disk: (Insufficient permission)
Locking the contents of the folder: (Insufficient permission)
What I can try: Tricking AV into believing the Win 10 install is malware.
I've played so far: Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story, while my friend is willing to loan his 3DS to play Dream Team.
So far, Inside Story is my favorite, adding Bowser as a main protagonist was a great move. Never beat PiT, but got to the Shroob Princess an henceforth quit for like 3 years.
Congratulations, they learned the basics of IndustrialCraft2! Now, do they have the mod author's permission to be using it like that is another question.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I choose bin/ben, which ever flows with my sentence better,

Nope, other side of the globe. NW Ohio, USA.

Yeah, I get .5 upload. Plus I don't wan't to have Century link call and say "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!"
And throttle the service to nothing.

i7 3770k, 16 gigs of ram, a 280x, and a whopping 6 megabit connection with a ping of 60. Usually is in the 2-3 megabit range.
Not fast enough.

I'm new to the whole process, but we were planning to rejigger the configs, if that's what you mean.

Thanks for the recommendation, SeaWry.
Now, the thing with hosts is, they all are really expensive, or cheap but shady.
Time to check the Servers section.

Well, the title sums it up. My Buddies and I want to get a Feed The Beast Infinity Evolved server for us to use.
I was thinking around 1/2-2 GB per player, due to the girthy pack. Thoughts?

Oh, OPIS has revealed the problem. For some reason, the game has a whopping 647 loaded chunks. That's not good.
Sorry for the necro, but was relevant.

Nope, not a Carolina Wolf Spider. Those get pretty big in the US.
Looks like the "Giant Crab Spider", Better known as the Huntsman Spider. Or at least what I can see from it. http://www.pestcontrolcanada.com/Questions/What i1366.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntsman_spider
The low res and it being in a combat / aggressive /defensive stance makes it tough.
