Shooting lava/water out of dispensers is nice, and will undoubtedly be used in various SMP traps/obsidian generators. As for the emerald ore, Id better generate some new chunks... I'll live with the gravel texture, and the Ender chests will probably be much more useful to me now that priest's can provide a steady supply of Eyes of Ender. NPC's also now allow you to get various previously ungettable things in survival, like Bottle o' Enchanting and Chain armor( the boots, anyway.) The villages being styled to the biome seems interesting, I wonder what a jungle biome one would look like? As for the pyramids, this could be the beggining of much more interesting exploration. Of course, in all my many desert explorations, I have only found 1 sanstone well, so I probably won't have fantastic luck with that. TNT traps around the map will make me eternally paranoid. Just my thoughts on the snapshot.Posted in: News

I live in a village, but all the inhabitants kicked the bucket long ago,and I have a huge building I'm still working on there, so I can't just move. I also found another village, thousands of blocks away from here. So that's why I'm in an abandoned mineshaft, combing the ground for rails. On my opinions on the trading, it appears they won't make it into, if a single gem is 20 raw chicken. If they add an ore, I'd better be prepared to generate some new chunks...Posted in: News

I need to report a bug. I've been playing through the new Up19b, and it seems like half the time when I spawn a new dungeon, nothing appears at all. Even looking around in Spectator mode, I can only find about half the dungeons that should be there for the books I've used.

I fly in circles around the Enforcer Lieutenant, occasionally taking a shot or two. I circle him until he's all dizzy, then stop and empty a lot of shots into him properly. Hopefully that softened him up a little!

Ack! I must've fallen asleep to be non-contributing for so long! I need to be more careful out in the field!
Using my SUPER SPEED AGILITY, I pull off one of my special maneuvers that I trained hard for by making up on the spot: DIAGONAL SHOOTING RETREAT TO SHACK MANEUVER! It's where I dash back and forth diagonally, with my back to the area I'm retreating towards (the shack, for my weak self to hide in) while firing everything I have at the enemy! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!
If I can, once I've flown inside the shack, I take a peek around.

Bug found: If you use the chat options for commands, it will say "you do not have permission to use this command" unless you have LAN mode on with cheats enabled. It might be better if you used NBT Explorer and gave the world cheats so that we wouldn't need to use LAN mode.
Other than that, though, I'm still playing through the new stuff. But it looks really nice so far! I appreciate a proper tutorial and better explanation, along with proper base guards. I'll have more feedback when I'm totally through playing.

I've been on the MCF for several years, and during that time, I think there were two major updates. Each one changed things for the worse, making the forum more broken. Problems have piled up without permanent fixes from the MCF staff, and it shows when Tazz tries to update a game requiring posts this big. I'm on board with the move, though I'm not sure where we should go. The Terraria forums seem like a safe bet, but I would like to go somewhere new also.
If everyone wants to go through with the move, then I'd like to as well. I still play Minecraft (SH Online mostly), but this is the only part of the MCF I frequent, and I'd be more than willing to make a new account if it means making Tazz's updates easier.
