Thanks for the honest opinion on the map, i haven't really made a ctm map before, this is like a second one i ever made. I didn't know about honeyboxes at the time of making the map :/
You're welcome! Yeah, for more information on honeyboxes, the size doesn't matter that much, its more about providing extra spawning space. Minecraft is always trying to spawn the same finite number of mobs in a limited space, and its designed for all the space a vanilla world would have. In a normal game of minecraft, this has the effect that caves have less mobs in them at night because they can spawn on the surface, and the reverse in caves during the daytime, and as you torch more and more caves the dark areas that remain get more crowded and difficult. In a minecraft map where the majority of the world is stone with some caves, this crowds all the mobs into whatever space is left. So just adding a bunch of dark squares of space with nothing in them helps bring the number of natural spawns back down again. Definitely something to consider if you make another map!
