This looks good to me. Wait for more feedback though.
Couldn't you just get a new HDD though?
Yeah, that's an option, but my mom wanted to get a new one instead so that she could have a warranty again seeing how the one on her's is expired. Personally I would just get a new HDD instead, but I guess when running a business you look a lot more for reliability and professional help.
I was thinking she might need more HDD, but I'm not quite sure. In the end it's possible to just get an external HDD when she needs more space.
Yep I actually noticed that. I had a little flamewar with my friend an hour ago and came across that.
Now, with the retina display, does software actually use that resolution?
Mountain Lion doesn't seem that exciting, the Ivy Bridge chips that run hotter than the Sandy Bridge seems a little weird to put in a laptop that already has cooling problems and the mac pro still seems to have crap graphics.
The updates on Siri are cool though and they still make awesome MP3 players.
I was thinking the same thing, what really uses that high resolution?
Today during work, my mom's laptop's hard drive crashed. She owns her own business, and has only one other employee who is a close family member. She recently got on the habit of backing up everything once a night, so no work was lost luckily. Now she needs a new laptop, and quickly. She really doesn't need much graphical power, it's just going to be used for business programs like Microsoft Office and browsing the internet. She also doesn't want to spend to much money on it either, mostly around $400-500. I don't think she will need much more than $400, but I guess that is up to you guys. The screen size doesn't matter at all, she has a monitor she uses for it instead. She also has a mouse and keyboard. I've been looking at a few options, but I really want some suggestions that I can give her from you guys as well.
The TVs don't notice it is there, so it says "No signal". I have win7 ultimate, and there are no beeps, just the whiring sounds of the parts going
Alright, turn the comp. off and make sure that EVERYTHING on the outside is completely plugged in ALL the way not only into the comp. but into the tvs as well. Then turn it back on, if nothing still, turn it back off, unplug the PSU after that, and then make sure you didn't hit the Clear CMOS button on the motherboard. Also check that no cables appear to be almost plugged in, or half way. If there are, then plug those into the respective slot. Don't just go plugging in all the cables, some may just not be plugged in normally, only do the ones that look like they are really loose. Close the case back up and then plug the PSU back in. Try turning the comp. back on. Tell us how it goes.
You're going to have to be much more specific, do you have any sound playing like beeps from the computer? If there are three consecutive beeps it means your comp. is failing to POST IIRC.
Also, what do you mean that your tvs won't pick them up? Any error messages coming up?
What OS are you running, and be specific, not just windows xp or something, but the service pack as well. Remember, don't go into the BIOS or anything and change setting around unless you know what you're doing, a lot of people completely **** their computer up that way, just stay calm. What do you mean that you will lose your comp. in twenty minutes?
I was wondering what would be the best GPU for gaming, but is only $200 or less. Eventually I will be building a computer, and have already posted about my build before, so I don't need any more help with that. I've got the build pretty much finished as far as planning goes, but the GPU is all I'm not certain on. The price limit of $200 is what will fit in my budget, so I really don't want any suggestions for something more expensive. Thank you all in advance.
My friend today was saying that Alienware was good, so I told him how he was horribly wrong. He realizes his error, only to say that they're fine for servers solely because they have 32 GB of RAM. He pisses the hell out of me.
I have a VERY annoying bug, on any post instead of having any images or size changes on the text I will instead get the html coding for it, like [img] [img] and [size] [size]. This was never like this before the update, could you please look into this? I wish to know if it is on my side or the server's side. Thank you for putting so much hard work on this new GUI for the site.
I really hope that experience points don't go into a skill tree or anything like that, Minecraft should be about exploration and creation. It shouldn't be about spending time to get the best player, but spending time to get the best resources. As long as the experience points don't go into just buying better tools then I will be happy.

I'm interested in oc'ing just because I am a bit of an enthusiast when I do things, but don't want to just throw money at stuff.
