Reason-My friend Biotechnic joined this server and asked me to join. It's been a while since I've played any minecraft multiplayer although I have been pretty involved in other servers when I did play. Not really sure if I'm gonna be able to get back into it though with school and other games and life in the way.

    Oh and I don't grief.

However, your school won't be any different from mine 15 years ago, where violence could "never be condoned" and "it wasn't the answer" and "blah blah blah".

School authorities seem to like deluding themselves that they can cram 1200 kids aged 11 to 18 into a school, and they will all get on, be polite, and hold doors open for eachother. It's a crock of ****. Kids, young men really, fight. It's part of growing up, part of identfying yourself, and part of life in every school up and down the country.

I hope you realize that they are just trying to reduce school violence as much as possible. And a lot of the stuff you said is opinion.

    For example, if 2 / 0 = ∞, then we'd expect 0 * ∞ to equal 2. But it doesn't. It still equals 0.

0*inf =/= 0. Zero times infinity is undefined.

Infinity is not a number; you can't math with it.

You are almost correct. 0/0, ∞ / ∞, and 0 * ∞ can all be managed using L'Hopital's Rule, but only in the scope of finding limits in calculus.

Yeah but he's not talking about limits. There's not function that can be measured as x->infinity or anything, just 2 numbers.

Let's play a fun number game.
We start counting prime numbers and whenever someone reaches an even prime number he shoots himself.
    You start.

    >:3

    1...2...OCRAP!

    Pssst, one is prime.

1 isn't prime o.o The point of the game is that the first person to go has to shoot themselves :X

Don't confront him. This isn't a sitcom. It's his choice, there's nothing for you to really say. Just be friendly, and if he drifts away, he drifts away.

To those who pointed out that any (nonzero) number divided by zero is infinity, this is actually not quite true. It's greater than infinity. For example, if 2 / 0 = ∞, then we'd expect 0 * ∞ to equal 2. But it doesn't. It still equals 0. So even an infinite number of zeros isn't enough. You need more....

    ...To infinity, and beyond!!

Not really. Infinity isn't a number so you can't (at least from my understanding of it) perform arithmetic with it. I know when talking about limits infinity*0 is indeterminate, because it depends on "how fast" its going to infinity and how fast its going to 0.

    Anyway, 2/0 doesn't = 0, it's error.

Almost none of those numbers are odd o.o
Just finite sequences of 2^n starting at 0.

So yeah I guess I just don't get it/don't know what pattern you are talking about.

I have never seen anyone call CoD's control's clunky. It has a lot of problems, but control-wise, its one of the smoothest games I've ever played. You should try BC2 if you want to see clunky.

Deciding if something is overrated is almost completely subjective. For instance, you can say they are overrated, and I can say, no, they are rated perfectly imo. There's no definitive value to how good they are, and also what their "rated."

You saying they are overrated is completely your own opinion.

"That's just like, your opinion man."

You've proved to me that you can't tell the difference, I rest my case. Have a good day. ;3

Mmk. Have fun explaining to people why the music you like is factually better than the music they like.

Honestly, some people are too funny.

Upon reading your post again, you're right, you didn't do it, you just called them influential, important and versatile to some degree.

Now let's see to what degree. ;3

Also it is not an objective fact that the Beatles are overrated.

It's not? Then what's objective according to you? Or are you one of those people who aren't able to tell the difference between epistemological subjetivism and think facts can be subjective? ;3
