Truly saddening to see minecraft forum closing it's doors I know this has been asked by many but is there absolutely no hope of keeping it running as an active forum? Surely something could be done?

Yes, That's pretty much it, I placed some water below the villagers and when they drop they get carried away Much simpler that rails and carts I've probably got over 100 in my little village now, I lost count but trading with them is excellent as they have everything I need
Although I must remember to build some shop /villager huts and separate them all so I can find the good traders easier because chasing them around is getting old fast !

Yes that helps I have tried that exact one And had it working great, I think I am asking too much to find something as easy to make and useful as the glass breeder, The simplicity of it is what drew me to it and after leaving my 5 villagers to do their thing all day today I came home to 35 more villagers and with some of them being farmers it speeds up the breeding significantly
I've done some google and youtube searching myself today and found that I am not going to find a simpler solution It's not the fastest but once it get's going it's great!

With villagers needing food /trading to breed I wondered if anyone had a good and very simple way to breed villagers in single player survival.
I've been using the glass breeder station from chunkbase which works perfectly But I do wonder if there is anything else I could use.
Attached is the one I setup, Mine is inside a 21x21 fence with a farm+farmer villager dishing out food But it's the same door setup as the picture.

I was detecting some sarcasm in their post Sarcasm doesn't translate over the internet well It made me laugh though !

The sky, stars and clouds in this are amazing! I could never go back to default sky and stars now, Never.
Anyway.
I was out and about exploring when I noticed that it's really dark in the uncovered areas in caves and ravines. When I switched to default minecraft and also tried another pack I have installed it's bright enough to make out the blocks but when I switch back to default hd it's really dark still, Almost too black to see!
I'm using optifine but it's dark with or without optifine so I thought I would come back and ask
And I'm just curious but are there any blocks missing from the pack? I'm sure I mined a few default blocks while out and about in my mine! I could be seeing things though So excuse me if my eyes aren't working

This is the best mod I've ever come across
So much easier to navigate for someone like me who get's lost in his own village I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it out! Having waypoints is amazing.

You could build an overflow lava pit /trash can for the excess iron that it produces I have seen some cool looking designs on youtube.

Well I feel silly now The packs run perfectly fine on my main PC
Turns out I loaded the 512 on a laptop and totally didn't realise I wasn't on my home PC

The 512 pack totally locks my minecraft up Every other pack I have run works fine so I am not sure what's wrong I am pretty sure I can run it but I just thought i would ask to see if anyone else has had this problem.
I only have optifine installed, Everything else is totally vanilla minecraft. I have NOT done any troubleshooting so it could be a one off as I have not tried it since.
I'll give the other packs a try before I cry though It looks totally amazing so I really hope I can run the 512 !!!

Sad news, It was worth looking into I suppose. I don't mind rebuilding some things but as you know some things are just so time consuming
Thanks for the info

I have a pretty nice world created on the xbox 360 that I no longer play since I am always on the PC version these days.
Is there a way without mods on my xbox 360 to get my save from my xbox 360 and put in on the PC?
It's a shame to let my world go to waste.
"EDIT"
If I could just get my buildings and such that would be great, It doesn't even have to be the whole world

That is a work of art

I agree, I am building /Finishing the Iron Titan at some point, It's a huge survival build. BUT... There is so much iron I wouldn't know what to do with it
I built this version in my world:
And It's already produced more iron than I could probably ever use
On the other hand I am in the process of upgrading my slime farm to (4) chunks Luckily or not for me there are 4 slime chunks all in a line side by side so I am upgrading my current farm from 2 chunks to a whopping (4) !!! MADNESS!
Overkill can be fun
