Thanks SynthHermit,
Took your advice and went with Forge installer 1.6.2 and MC version 1.6.2. Now I have to get things installed after work. Is there a particular order? BTW, going to all the links you and bilde provided really gave my popup blocker challenges! Glad I know my way around a little - it's a shame the people who write this crap pray on people who want to try a little gaming :-(.
So long as you install Forge first, and run MC with just forge once, you can put all 3 MoCreatures files into the mod folder at once.
As already stated, I'd download the recommended Forge build and install that. (Highly recommend the Forge installer). The Forge installer will create a profile for itself set to the correct version.
Did you run minecraft with just Forge installed before trying to add mods?
Sorry that nobody has helped so far.
In your .minecraft folder, there will be a folder called "Crash Reports".
Please copy the contents of the most recent file in there, and paste it here in spoiler tags.

If there is no error report, could you tell me which mods ,and which versions of those mods, you are trying to install?
Hello there! Welcome to the wonderful world of mods. c:
Right now, the only way to mod 1.7.2 is to put the mod directly into the minecraft.jar file, but there are only a handful of mods compatible with 1.7.2 right now. A mod made for 1.6.2 will not work on 1.7.2, due to the changes in the coding.
I'd recommend using 1.6.2 or 1.6.4 until Forge and the mods you want are updated to 1.7.2, which won't be until at least Decemeber (1.7.2 was a HUGE update with a TON of coding changes, so the people behind Forge have quite a bit of work to do).
For Mo'Creatures, I'd recommend using Minecraft 1.6.2, as the build for 1.6.4 is still in development and may not function correctly. Granted the 1.6.2 version does have some bugs of it's own, but is generally more stable.
First off, you'll want to run Minecraft version 1.6.2 at least once. To change versions, go to the "Edit Profile" button just to the left of the "Play" button on the launcher. Halfway down, you'll see a "Use Version" Dropdown. Select "release 1.6.2" from the list, and click "Save Profile". Now when that profile is selected, you'll run Minecraft version 1.6.2 (unless you change it again). Run Minecraft from this profile, let it load to the main screen, then you can close it.
Now, go to the link provided by bilde (as it seems I've been sniped while typing xD), and download the recommended Forge build for 1.6.2 (I'd recommend downloading the installer, as it will put everything where it's supposed to go, and will also create a new launcher profile for the Forge version you just installed. It will be called "Forge",and will be automatically set as your selected profile.) Run the installer, and once it's done it's thing, run this new Minecraft version. Again, it will have created a new profile for itself, so just make sure this is selected before you hit "Play". Let the game load to the main screen, then close it down.
Bilde has provided you with the link to the Mo'Creatures topic, so go there and download the three files: Mo'Creatures, GuiAPI, and CustomSpawner. Then you'll want to go to your .minecraft folder. An easy way to get there is to go to the "Edit Profile" button in the launcher, then down next to the "Save Profile" button in the new window will be "Open Game Directory". This button will open up the .minecraft folder. Once there, you'll see a new folder named "Mods". Place the three mod files you've downloaded into this folder. Make sure that GuiAPI is a .jar file (If it's not, I can tell you how to change it),and not to rename any files, otherwise it won't run correctly.
And that's it! Now when you run the "Forge" profile in your launcher, any mods you have installed will run. If you choose to add more mods, just remember to check to see if it requires any other mods to run and that it will run on 1.6.2.
If you have any further problems or questions, please feel free to ask/message me and I'll be glad to help out. c:
ClassNotFound Errors, which is what you are getting, are caused when a mod is looking for a .class file that is either missing or that was corrupted during download.
Delete your current Pixelmon files and re-download a fresh copy of them (leave the name of the file alone if you changed it before. This will also break things). This should fix the problem.
The problem is with BetterStorage. I'm not familiar with this mod, but if you could paste the config file for it within spoiler tags, I'll take a look through it and see if there's anything we can do with it.

Says this, thoughts? Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation. You have mod sources that are duplicate in your system. Mod Id:File name pixelmon : Pixelmon 2.5 pixelmon: Pixelmon 2.5.zip
You have Pixelmon installed twice. Remove one of the pixelmon files from your mod folder.
I've run into this problem a couple times myself. Loading up either the previous or newer version of mine craft from the one you're using, then trying to run the Forge installer again usually works.
By "original" launcher, do you mean the old 1.5.2 launcher or the new launcher that came out with 1.6.x?
First off, make sure you've run 1.6.4 at least once, then run Forge's installer. When you go to launch Minecraft from the new launcher, your default profile should have changed to "Forge" which will by default be set at the Forge version you just installed.
Hello there. First of all, which mod or mods are you trying to install, and for what version of Minecraft?
EDIT - Seems I've been beaten to first post. Ah well.
If you're trying to mod version 1.6.4 or below, the Forge installer is the way to go. It will automatically install Forge,as well as create a new launcher profile called "Forge", which will be set by default to whatever Forge version you just installed.
After Forge is installed, run Minecraft with just Forge installed, so Forge can set itself up and to make sure there are no problems there. If this launch goes off without a hitch, double check to make sure you have the correct version of the mod you wish to install (and that it is compatible with Forge, most are), then put the untouched/unopened/non-renamed mod file into the newly created "Mods" folder within your .minecraft folder.

I'd also highly recommend penning up and breeding cows/pigs as soon as you can(instead of flat out killing them all).
