    Good idea, but I think it should use gold nuggets instead, as an entire ingot for 1 redstone dust is quite expensive.

    Just looked up how much damage they do, Jesus.Though I guess that this is the kind of dungeon for enchanted diamond armour, so they are supposed to be a challenge.

    Personally, I would say Advent of Ascension for 1.12.2. It adds hundreds of mobs, over 20 dimension, new weapons types, hundreds of items and many new interesting gameplay mechanics such as summoning. I have one complaint, though. It lags quite frequently for me. The sheer amount of content sometimes makes me turn the game off and on again due to the lag. Anyway, what's your favourite mod?

    This is a very detailed, well-thought suggestion, but there are some issues I have. First of all, the mammoth stats are insane, particularly the damage. I think that its health should be 50, the tusk swing should do 8 damage, and the stomp 10. Also, the howdah recipe makes no sense. Just carpets and a bed? No wood? The steppe-tundra biome is nice, but it seems a little unnecessary. Couldn't you just add elephants, which would basically be the same and place them in existing biomes? Dyable elephants also seem quite silly.

    Ever been bored to death going up slow water elevators or having to walk long, uninteresting paths? Just want to get to your location? Then the teleportation pad would be a solution to that!


    First of all, the crafting recipe:

    R = redstone

    C = chorus fruit

    E = ender pearl

    R C R


    The texture would be a slab. The edges would be a purpur texture, while the centre would be a blue nether portal.


    Now, how it works:

    You place down a teleportal, and right click it. It will come up with a GUI that shows the coordinates of every teleportal within a 128-block radius (goes along y-axis as well). You choose the one you want to go to, and when you enter the teleportal, it will take you there. You may argue that this could allow you to teleportal into other players' bases in multiplayer, and that would be correct. This is where the protection feature comes in. In the GUI, you can select which teleportals in the radius can access yours, thus blocking out unwanted visitors.


    That was my little suggestion, and any criticism is welcome!

    posted a message on Anybody still play 1.6.4 modded?

    A lot of people hail 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 as the best version for modding, but nobody seems to remember that 1.6.4 was just after the birth of Forge, and as such many mods were made for that version. 1.6.4 is also a little nostalgic for me, as there is relatively old worldgen and the game is still pretty simple at this point, allowing lots of room for a wide variety of mods to be installed.

    Just a little nitpick, those percentages need tweaking a little, as they add up to 105%. Now, for the actual suggestion. I quite like the idea of having an alternative to the rarely spawning, extremely powerful iron golems. But wouldn't their job be to protect the village, not follow some traveller around? Also, how many spawn per village? What're the chances of them spawning? I would personally like at least 1 to spawn for every village, with maybe 1 added for every 5 villagers. I just need a few more details.

    First of all, the way you get to the dimension and how it balances with its reward is quite counter-intuitive. How many diamonds does the beanstalk need? The giant is completely overpowered. Also, what else is in the castle? Surely it can't just be the giant! The diamond chicken is just not needed, as to kill the giant you would probably need full diamond equipment and enchantments already. Lastly, it just doesn't fit in with the style of Minecraft.
