Nope, you have a long way to go before the endless oceans begin however, ocean biomes in general have potential to become extremly big, often spanning across +10000 blocks. Just keep going and you should find land somewhere.

• Download the server software.
• Place it in a folder on your desktop.
• Run the server.exe, it will generate the necessary files.
• Exit the server and delete the world folder.
• Open the server properties with text document and set everything correctly (difficulty, gamemode, pvp, ect).
• Find your singleplayer world from the .minecraft\saves folder.
• rename it to "world" and place it inside the server folder.
• start your server.
• ????
• profit.

You will also have to portforward your router to be able to play with people online. If you need help with that, simply google "minecraft portforwarding", there are plenty of tutorials.

I'd have to say . So, so many memories...

Posting here about it won't solve anything. Try to contact the server owner/admins and tell them about it instead.

Snapshots are referring to those unstable builds Mojang pushes out through the new client. I think you're meaning "Screenshots".

A mod cannot add real capes. Only you and other players running the same mod (optifine for example) will be able to see them. To answer your question, yes, it's perfectly legal.

Maybe you should post the "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" file so we have more information to work with?

This is a glitch. It was found minutes after the End was first added in Beta 1.9 and is nothing new.
Please use the Wiki before posting threads like this in the future.

Simply scroll down to the server section, find a good thread (most servers require you to fill out a form to be "whitelisted" on the server),
click "Direct Connect" in your Minecraft Client and enter the servers Ip addres and click "Join Sever".

Keep in mind that the owners of the server has the ability to spawn in items / use creative mode. There may also be Plugins on the server such as McMMo or Economy that may change the way the game is played.

Is there any way for you to recover the old email? Otherwise you will have to find your old transaction ID that you should have written down on a paper when buying the game, otherwise you could try sending an email to Mojang but I don't think they can do much. If you bought it through PayPal, you can log in and view your ID through your transaction history. If you bought it from Moneybookers you can contact them and ask for your "Merchant Transaction ID"

I've heard about this problem a few times before but I've never seen it happend or heard about something that could fix it.
Have you tried letting a monster attack you? Otherwise I guess you could try taming a new animal and see if you can interact with that one. Then you could proceed to pour lava on the others and start over again.

If you would had choosen comic sans, this thread would have been perfect...
