Also, I think you misread my post with the "Obsidian's life" and "Diamond's life". I'm talking about how long the object will last before it breaks. Diamond is like 4,000, right? So Obsidian should be around 2,000. I think Iron is like 800 or something. I don't know for sure.

According to the Minecraft Wiki, the amount of damage that can be done to each piece of armor before it breaks is shown below:
I would say full Obsidian would give only about a half armor point more than full iron. Obsidian sword will do slightly more damage than iron and so on. However, Obsidian pickaxe will be able to mine Obsidian (but a bit slower than diamond obviously). And Obsidian's life should be half of Diamond's life (which is still more than Iron, yes?).
Half of a full set of diamond armor is 5 defense, and a full set of iron is 7 and a half defense, so Obsidian should be about 8 defense, since diamond is 10.

The Story So Far: The creepers feel angry that everyone is afraid of him. He tries telling his opinion, that you, have done terrible, cruel things too, like slaughtering, poor, innocent animals, but you don't listen. You kill the creeper. Now the Creepers are attacking as a act of rebellion.

I like this idea. But I have some questions. Since torches cannot be placed on glass or glowstone, can you place the glowstone dust on these blocks? Probably not but I'm just confirming.
Another idea to throw out there. They would be aggressive toward ANY POSSIBLE threat when they have a cub nearby. (Zombies, skeletons, etc). They should also hunt, like wolves do too.
I think it would make sense if the passive mobs that they attack are pigs and cows, and they attack all hostile mobs except creepers and Enderman when they have a cub.
