Famcraft FTB is a modded, survival, family friendly server with rules that create a calm and peaceful atmosphere for all ages.
We use our own private FTB modpack loaded with 166 mods in total! There is a mod for almost anything you could imagine! Do you like machines and power? Do you like magic? Do you wish to travel to the moon and mars, or perhaps you enjoy breeding bees and trees? We have it!
3 - Abusive, racist, sexual, drug-related, belligerent, political, anti-political, religious, anti-religious, and inflammatory chat is not allowed in posts, text, skin, shapes of structures built ingame, text in signs, private messages, or nick/screen names.
4 - Trading, linking to, or discussing illegal material (games, software, movies, etc.) is not allowed.
5 - Do not discuss other servers.
6 - Using any client modification that allows an unfair advantage is prohibited. We do allow adding Optifine to the pack.
7 - No harassment of any kind to any player.
8 - No spamming or using excessive caps.
9 - English only in general chat.
We expect all players to abide by these rules regardless of their age. The Famcraft staff team will enforce these rules strictly through warnings, mutes, bans and kicks. Following these rules will make your time here, on Famcraft, more enjoyable for you and others.
Plugins We Offer
- PreciousStones allows players to claim and protect their land against grief.
- LWC gives the ability to lock chests, furnaces, signs and many other blocks upon placing them to players.

How to install FamCraft's private mod pack to your Computer:
If you're running Feed the Beast for the first time you will have to create a profile. To do this, in the FTB Launcher click "Select Profile", then "Create Profile". Enter your minecraft username and password. When you have finished, press "Add". If you migrated your account, you will need to use your email address instead of your username.
When you click "Launch", you will be logged into minecraft and the mod pack will download. Please be patient as this will take several minutes. Remember, there are 166 mods!
Once you have launched the Famcraft FTB modpack, you can connect to the server by entering the IP: ftb.famcraft.com!
Upon entering the server, you will spawn in a room with the rules, in detail, on the wall. Please take your time in reading these rules. An explanation of some rules further in detail can be found on the left hand wall when you join. If a staff member is available, they will greet you and offer you a tour. This tour will explain some of the most important plugins an commands we use on Famcraft. This tour is optional, but it is recommended to get the most enjoyment out of the server. If you would prefer to take a self-guided tour, we also offer /warp tour. This warp would show you all important information on signs. Any questions and concerns are encouraged to be asked! Common Issues:
I receive an error message saying that I am missing an addon or a mod or something while trying to connect to the server!
An error probably occurred while downloading the mod pack. The cause of these errors are a corrupted mod pack download or installation. Try re-installing the pack by clicking the Options tab in the launcher and clicking "Force Update". Then launch the pack again and it will re-download. If that doesn't work, navigate to the location of the pack files (you can find the location from the launcher's Options tab) and delete the "Famcraft" pack folder. Then launch the pack again to re-download it. If the error persists, please post about it on the forums.
I can't craft a certain item!
There are several broken recipes. They include recipes that use the lapotron crystal as well as others chargeable ingredient items. If you find one, first ask the other players on the server if they know a way around it. If they don't have an answer, contact an Admin when you see them online or if you do not feel like waiting for an admin, visit this site and submit a ticket: http://u.famcraft.com/4X You can place the ingredients in a chest, then give the coordinates of the chest in the ticket so an Admin can the spawn item for you.
My FPS is so low, I can't even move!
Running a mod pack such as FamCraft's FTB uses a lot of resources on your computer, resulting in a drop in FPS, or frames per second. You could resolve this issue by raising the maximum RAM that FTB can use or you can try downloading Optifine. You can find a tutorial on how to install it here:http://u.famcraft.com/4S
Many players run their FTB client with 2-4 GB or RAM. You may need to install 64-bit Java in order to be able to assign more than 1 GB of RAM to your client.
Why am I crashing all the time?
There are many different reasons why your client may be crashing. If crashes persist, post your Forge Mod Loader client output log on theforums and someone may be able to diagnose your problem. The log can be found in your FTB folder and is typically named "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log". Click Options in the FTB launcher to find your Install Folder. Navigate there and then nagivate to \Famcraft\minecraft. That's where you'll find the file. Either attach it to your post or paste it someplace like this:http://paste.kealper.com/ and include a link to it in your forum post.
