Like anything though, people are going to vote on the locations they live near, just how it works. Of course I live in the U.S. and would love for it to be in my home town, not everyone is able to make it. Just like someone who lives in Australia, he will make it but no one else. I think that this year was an ok location against the previous years.
Paris was only french speaking and not everyone knows french. But it did have disney for kids and etc
Vegas, I don't think this was the greatest location. Its a, well lets say kid-teen game. Theres really not much in Vegas except for Casinos.
Orlando, I think this is the best location so far because of the things you can do. They have the disney world theme parks and Universal. You of course also have bush gardens, sea world, and beaches. Millions of people around the world just travel for that, so I can see why they chose it.
Now I don't see why they can't maybe have a mine con tour. although it wouldn't have the same perks as the convention its self (capes, goodie bags etc) it would be free and vista major cities around the world.

You also receive a goodie bag that usually contains ads from panelists to little creeper figures and capes.

If you go to eventbrite to check your tickets, they no longer have request refund or able to change name.
So don't buy tickets on ebay
Yeah, but the may check the name that bought with the ticket with the credit card. Such as John Apple's Visa
But you Have Suzy Apple on the ticket. They may check John's instead of Suzy. You get what I mean?
Via Barcode may have it, sounds stupid I know but maybe.
I do have another question though.... If someone were to buy 2 tickets 1 for themselves and another for a friend when u go to the gate do they let u in with the same name on the ticket for your friend? I ask only because of some other posts ive been reading
If your friends name is on the ticket, and he is there with you. You will both get in. But he has to be with you.

I probably wouldn't be able to go, so I would want it somewhere more centered for everyone. Like the Ocean, we can be on a giant squid.
There is no such thing as better a location for everyone, you are most likely referring to yourself. They had timezones for pretty much everyone to. It seems like your not trying to help others, but only yourself.
1. Previous Minecon Conventions were not as big, only 4500 compared to 7500. So, they did up their tickets from last year.
2. Minecon can be very packed, even with 4500 people and we don't know how much space Mojang really rented. So if 4500 people was tight imagine 7500. Any more then 7500 would be to crowded.
3. Going along with how crowded it is, Mojang wants to keep it personal. If they had more tickets not everyone would be able to meet the staff, or check the booths, or heck even enter.
4. Mojang only rented PART of the west building, so maybe their limit was only 7500.
5. If they sold more tickets, more people would complain about not getting them, and we are back at this situation.
I would have to say first batch was the easiest to get though, since nobody was expecting what would happen. 2nd Batch was a time for people to try their strategies. Third batch though, ohh third batch. That was the most hectic.
