EconiCraft, i can definitely say that these people are one of the kindest people on the forums- you can't expect to have 4GB server thrown straight at you. It takes a gradual approach to get anything done. I think it was nice of them to give you a 2GB server, and in return make something they wanted, and slowly build on each others trust.
I got rejected a sponsorship by Diamond Host but didn't really mind. They weren't committed to giving me the server so that was all good, so that didn't give me hopes up. They asked me some questions and finally they rejected. I was fine, happy even because i'd rather get rejected by a professional business then get accepted by a lousy business who winge to help.
You didn't WORK with them. They offered you something, better than nothing and you gave back nothing in return. I think everyone on these forums would agree that you didn't deserve the server. Also, don't offer something you're not capable of with holding. As for me, i never advertise anything that i'm not capable of doing, so atleast i can hold my end of the bargain.
Usually skills that you achieve in life can be applied to visual games. For example, play soccer- you learn to become a team player. Work at a fast food shop- you learn to work more efficiently.
Becoming an admin on a server doesn't only require experience. It requires dedication, time, effort and sometimes even money. Like, for my server, i wouldn't hire people that are experienced, but rather people who are fair-minded, simple and don't rage.
Being experienced doesn't mean that you're better at it than someone else, it just means you already skipped the first step (learning your way around).
Maybe if you found out some commands (/ban, /kick, /give) etc. It would qualify you for being experienced. Another good way to become an admin, is to play on the server. Find out what happens behind the scenes. Maybe even offer to help the server owner out with something. Just never nag or bug someone about it.

If you can do this, you can receive your own shiny prefix ingame and sit in the staff section of our Historical Roman Spawn. You need to know what you are doing, and do it whenever you're not busy.

It was laggy
Your host had no website
You had only hosted 1-2 other people
We just need reliability. So when we were sleeping we could be sure that the server was still up. In the long run, your server wouldn't have worked out. Sorry.

Sudhi, you are a godsend, my server which is 9 GB RAM is looking for exactly something like this!!! I would kindly negotiate you and your friends ranks so they are appropriate to the world. I love this idea and it is amazing, I do not need ANY repayment if you choose to accept as this is also helping me in a good way too. As the owner of the server I can create any amount of ranks for you an will install plugins at will after u ask me on Skype. I honestly hope u choose to run you idea with my server as we are really trying to get off the ground soon. I have Skype, I will message you my name. You also said about giving all the donation money to the host, I will only take 25% of it and leave you the rest if u choose to go with us. I believe we will work very well together because I am working very, very hard to make a great enjoyable server, unlike some of these servers that get released ASAP, I try to take time in doing things so it can be done perfectly. You also seem like a very nice character and I absolutely LOVE the idea!!! I have never heard of an idea like this EVER before and I get I never will again. This map, this server, this is your dream isn't it? Because if it is I will back you up no matter what happens because I want you to reach that dream. Hello ShiftFG. Your offer sounds very tempting, however- the reason we want to run this server is because i already have a community of around 15-30 people. And we'll all been given roles already. (Owner, Admin, Mod- Web designer, Plugin manager, etc). However, having a server with someone else as a owner may tip this off.
The reason i'm asking for a couple month sponsorship is basically because we know we will end up paying (and paying won't be an issue in 2-4 months).
Nonetheless, i'd like to talk to you on Skype. I've got you added.
Can i know the server specs? And possibly even the server IP so we can test lag?
