Okay "Expert MLG,& Redstoner." You joined this forum since Monday this week. This post has been here since December, with the demo already done since January. I can actually assume it was the other way around that you stole my work, XD. In the end, no I did not copy your map.
Why thank you, For a while I was starting to think that this post was dead XD. I will play your map this weekend. The link seems to not work however, so if you can fix that then I will gladly give it a try. Have you played the demo of mine by the way?
I would like to see an adventure map come forth, with a macabre and horror tone towards it. A map where you dread the unknown, I think that would be a really cool theme for an adventure map. Basically, what I'm trying to say is... Make a survival horror map <XD
I've been searching for a mod that has a fog feature almost that of a Silent Hill game. Unfortunately, it seems there is none... so i'm hoping that some one who has some mod skills could create such a mod. That's pretty much what I wanted to tell. Good day :-F
I appreciate your support for my map :-F, It really does mean someting to me that part of the community are entertained by my efforts put forth. Was there any problems or suggestions you might add that you want to see?
I can relate to you on this, it seems the horror genre in minecraft is a very small handful of individuals, so there only so much content that comes out at times, however... there is some resource packs that might suit what you want. The forgotten memories is a suburb resource pack, 64x64. Also the silent hill resource pack is just as great. Those are my suggestions to you, hope they help out :-F
a modpack including all the necessary mods you need in order to make the map work
About the resourcepack:
The features the resource pack has:
Custom sound effects and audio from the original game
Original 32x32 textures
Terror seeks in these walls
Note:
In order to play this map, you need to install forge 1.7.10 and install all the mods included in the modpack
Why use mods?:
Even though this map is not created for vanilla Minecraft, that does not mean its limited to it functionality. Meaning this map uses vanilla's scoreboards, playsounds, tellraw, and etc and combing that and with much more from mods
Yeah, before I start anymore progress i'm asking all of mod makers for permission on use of their mods for my map, if it does not go as plan... ill have to go pure vanilla on it :-C
Now for the majority who are getting sick of FNAF creations being posted, let me assure you that this is not like the others. Basically Im going to forge both layouts found in FNAF 1& 2 into a Modded "Survival Horror Experience", Meaning that you're going to fight endless hordes of demonic Animatronics with little to no supplies!!!(Sounds horrible already)Here are some screenshots on my progress
List of mods going to be used
Furniture Mod
BibloCraft
Carpenters Blocks
Five Nights At Freddy's
*Note: all mods will be in a modpack excluding FNAF mod, that you'll will have to download separately due to terms with the creator of it
Well done map, short and sweet. I felt very apprehensive the whole time and was determine to finish playing the map, however the jump scare when slenderman catches you was rather not scary(to me that is), and made me confused about what was going on. I was just about to finish the map when it happen, so... yeah XD. Overall, not a bad job. The sound-effects were suburb, from the whisper quiet footsteps to the static sound of the ominous presence of slenderman. I rate the map 4/5 ****. Keep up the good work
Your graphics card is rather old and not very powerful, so good performance is not to be expected from it.
You'll need more modern and more powerful hardware to get good performance.
Do you have any suggestions for a replacement that not too expensive?
