okay, i need a password to get to my port settings, my dad has this password, i dont...he thinks if i do this, his computer may get hacked because people can connect using our port, im almost certain this wont happen , but is there an actual explanation for why this will or will not happen?
It is a possibility that someone could hack into your network but it's never happened before (that i know of). I think Notch wouldn't encourage people to host servers (over 1000 servers up) if people can easily hack into you dads computer so it's very very VERY unlikely and maybe not possible any more because i did get my information about this quite a while ago when i set up my server.
In regardes to the portal, you could have a creepy mansion out of town up on a hill and have the portal in the basement. Make it out of mossy coblestone.

Good idea but i will have to find a lot of spawner's to get enough mossy cobble i'll go searching for spawner's.

Multiple lava moats (lava-falls optional) I'll put these around the town after things get finished
a rollercoster I will start this now :biggrin.gif:
a mine that goes to the bottom of the map Working on that now i've got about 10 layers beneath the surface (not that far i know)
A giant doom tower (of doom) I have a castle of doom but i will work on a tower
and an FU lever (stick dynamite in key places around the town and connect all of the to one lever) lol i love this i will try this out

Some kind of factory with lava pouring out of giant cups into other giant cups
A Hospital
Mansions
Parks with trees and flowers and ducks and stuff
A Subway/Undergound whatever you call it.
An airstrip
A harbour/port
A fortress
A hellish nether portal.

Cant watch the vid. Im on my iphone and it would take forever to load. But heres what id have in a town.
School. Markets. Gas stations. Homes. Utilities places such as a power station, water purification plant. Manufacturing plants. Maybe an air port. Bars. Resturaunts. Car lots. Mechanic shops. Bus and cab deopts. Maybe a port for shipping boats with one of those cranes. Maybe even a military base.
Thats all i got. Ill watch the video and post later when i get home.

i planted 4 trees 5 grass away from each other and they wouldnt grow so you must be wrong
I'm not wrong, you might not be waiting long enough for them to grow or you have some kind of issue in your minecraft maybe theres a mod conflicting and preventing trees to grow.
