Well It says that you can request an increase in player limit but the FAQ states if your server becomes sluggish then player limit will be decreased. I believe that it can hold more than 20 players I just want to provide best possible time on your server.

The control panel we use and supply for you to manage your server is very easy but it isn't one click install for plugins.
There's an FTP feature built in to upload the plugins or if you wish we can manage it all for you. You can choose between 3 different server wrappers:
Default Minecraft server
Craftbukkit
Optimised Minecraft server
These can be changed all within one click, you can test it out with the [Free Trials], you can do virtually anything to your server within the control panel.

Anyway if you would be thinking of purchasing you can always 'try before you buy' with the free trials. Everything is transferable so if you have files you'd want to import on your server with us that's no problem to do. You can either choose to do it yourself with the built in FTP or I can import the files for you.

hey ive bought a bronze server today to try you out :tongue.gif: seem to of been having a bit of downtime but i guess that was expected as you seem like a new company :tongue.gif: i got some questions as im already a existing customer is there a chance of if i want to upgrade to siver or gold i could get it at a cheaper price. also are you guys gonna have bukkit support ? as thats one thingyo really need :tongue.gif:
Downtime? I opened an announcement to say we had some lag on the main machine, it was rebooted and all is well. Nobody was online at that moment so I took my chance. It was no longer than 5 minutes.

Not long, it is usually instant setup but it must be a bug in the billing software which it's saying you haven't paid. I'm looking into it now, liberty reserve still not letting me login.

Thanks for the quick replies. To clarify - we are not looking to set up our own server (lame bandwidth, among other reasons). We are looking for a hosted server with some sort of control panel. But more to the point, responsive and patient support for someone who is still learning the basics of how to work in this space. (for example, just learning about FTP). He is sharp and learns fast, but needs patience with things that we all might consider assumed knowledge.

yeh i know, but it gets people like you REALLY mad. also i didn't say he tried to say anything, but i dont think he is looking to pay $5 so his son can make a server. not saying it wouldn't be fun, but there are cheaper ways to learn than dump money into some digital service. also learning through a premade control panel is downright terrible idea, first hand is the way to go.

Starting off the easier way is not a 'downright terrible idea', once he gets the hang of things then you move up. Stop the offtopic talk and wait until he replies to specify more to what he needs.
