Because if one were to tag a bunch of animals, there'd be a **** ton of entities always on the map, which would cause it to lag, probably.

I take it back, he is talking about unique blacks that when a circuit runs into they they make a sound. So you could set up a whole group of instrument blacks and make an 8bit music set.
Great idea, but why does it needs steel? It isn't overpowered or something, you could just use leather (also without the string). You guys really like to make stuff hard to create (i mean, not so actually hard in this situation, but yeah, you understand it).

I think that cutscenes would be pretty nice! Make those completionist people try to collect all of the cutscenes.
Muncher, you basically said that this idea was the WORST on this site you have ever seen. I call bulls**t on that one. Ever thought your negative criticism is stopping the GREATEST idea from appearing because you make people fear they will get shot down? If you hate everyone else's idea, then you must have the best ideas, right?

Wouldn't the experience of fighting your first creeper, or placing your first torch be more memorable and have more of an impact on you if you did it your self? Does'nt putting a generic cutscene that everyone sees make the experience less special?
Think of it this way. Assuming you all played pokemon, wasn't it extremely special when you caught your first pokemon? It was something original to you and now one had the exact same experience as you. Wouldn't that experience be diminished if a generic cutscene that everyone saw played after you caught your pokemon? Same with minecraft.
Minecraft does'nt need cutscenes because the game revolves around experiences that player make for themselves. Adding cutscenes makes everyone experience the same, ruining the fun and origonality.
