Its not equivalent to any version of the PC as they are adding content out of order.
Are you kidding? PC has everything, PE and MCX have nothing compared to the PC edition.
Can they add upside down stairs and slabs now? It is rather annoying not having those.
While I agree that minor different features can make it worthwhile to purchase both versions, updates to major aspects of the game that are currently lacking should NOT be reserved for just one version. The Ender Dragon is a pretty terrible boss as of now on PC. All you do is spam arrows until it dies. It requires absolutely no skill, just lots of arrows and armor that you grind for. It's got only one phase, one attack: slamming you with its body. It doesn't even land. While Ender Acid certainly won't fix make it an amazingly fun battle, it's certainly a step in the right direction. -

Dec 26, 2012Strottinglemon posted a message on Change Your Minecraft Name? Possibly In The FuturePosted in: News'Reec3ty'
I'm sorry, but I despise this idea of changing names. Sure, I regret my name, and more so down the track because I chose it from what bullies used to call me, but honestly let's look at the pros and cons of this.
Pros:
1. You can have a cool new username.
Cons:
1. Server Owners can't ban you if you change your name.
2. It is morally confusing for people to distinguish you.
3. It's going to cause many problems down the track, whether system overloads at Mojang, or debates of innapropriateness.
This is why I don't condone this new idea Jeb brought to mind, it's just plain horrible and will lead to a new level of griefing.
Just have the ban system ban your Mojang account/IP instead of just the name. People can already change their names with hacking clients, you know. To discourage inappropriateness, have names be changeable only once every week/month. -

I'm playing on it right now. It seems oceans are big again. And I just found a jungle, which I've heard dissappeared in the previous snapshot.
Also 4 block thick spruce trees are in mega taigas (not sure if that was already in).It was.0
I find that riding on top of them is just dandy.

Ah, here it is:
Lemon Theory of Creepers
A Creeper is a strange hybrid lying somewhere between K. Animalia, K. Fungi, K. Monera, and K. Plantae. It reproduces via an airborne spore that is released when the creature's sac of explosive powder detonates and scatters them. The powder inside a creeper is simply a form of stored energy, similar to our fats except incredibly volatile. For reasons long lost to the wonders of nature, the propellant sac will only activate when receptors lining its its respiration orifice (commonly mistaken as a mouth, which it is not because the Creeper is not a heterotroph but an autotroph, and therefore does not consume other organisms) detect pheromones of a Homo-Sapien produced when it is startled. This has resulted in directional selection towards illusive and fast Creepers.
The spores share the rugged, durable characteristics of archaebacteria. They are hardy and can travel thousands of kilometers. Creepers are an androgynous species, resulting in a lack of gender XY chromosomes in the spore. When they join with another spore by happenstance, a zygote is formed that rapidly begins cell division, obtaining needed energy and nutrients through extremely efficient photosynthesis. A growing Creeper is virtually indistinguishable from a blade of tall grass. Once the Creeper is mature enough for its legs to form, it wrenches itself free of the soil and seeks out humans. Since humans are generally few and far between, Creepers will seek a dark place such as a cave and create an endospore around itself, enabling it to survive in stasis for an all but indefinite period of time, only emerging when it detects human presence.
Creepers and Pigs are believed to have been descended from a common ancestor due to vestigal structures found in Creepers, such as a tail bone and part of a digestive system despite them being autotrophic. They also have similar foot structure. However, divergent evolution has separated the two species so far that they no longer belong to the same kingdom. In fact, an entirely new kingdom had to be created specifically for the Creeper: K. Hybridia, a kingdom encompassing creatures that share a number of characteristics from other kingdoms. As of now, the Creeper is the sole member of said kingdom and cannot be given a proper taxonomic classification or binomial name due to the fact that there are no other organisms in K. Hybridia to compare it to.
Edit:
A mystery of nature. We aren't sure why they evolved that way, but we do know why they explode when close to humans. When humans are afraid, they release a pheromone in their sweat. Creepers' have receptors in their respiration orifice that are specifically designed to pick up this pheromone. The pheromone can be detected from 16 meters away, but the intensity needed to initiate the sequence that sets off the propellant sac is found at around 4 meters away. When the Creeper's receptors detect a sufficient amount of the pheromone, they send an electrical impulse directly to the propellant sac. All of the stored energy, or "gunpowder", is released at once, scattering Creeper spores far and wide, and perhaps destroying the human in the process. Simultaneously, the electrical impulse triggers a massive release of dopamine in the Creeper's brain and they experience pleasure similar to a human orgasm. The hissing you hear is them expressing this.
The receptors, nerve connections, and explosion sac are all part of the Explository System. The Explository System functions completely independent of the Creeper's brain, inhibiting it from exploding at will.

Your post implied you didn't, as you claimed the thread proposed to spam mountains everywhere which it clearly does not. And what was the point of that wikipedia article?

Read the op before posting, please. It's all there. Secondly, stop using ad homenim insults instead of actually debating the topic of terrain.

I think you mean "I honestly couldn't care less". Saying you could care less implies that you do care. Also, terrain is more than just visuals, it shapes how the player explored and what he builds.

You're actually hurting Mojang here (Or trying to). Sometimes they get off track and need the players to give feedback to make the game better. What you're saying here is that we shouldn't try to improve the game.
