Shes a boy... I noticed that after talking to him (I think... and hope *lol*) - Don't be mad at me if he isn't... :-P
Says Gender: Female on her profile.
Don't see a reason to lie about that sort of thing.

-Solar Flare, - Best described as the sun exploding, and then reseting. The screen gets brighter until its white-bright and then dims down again. The area about 2-3 chunks in diameter around the player is affected by this, and only open, exposed areas (nothing covered in shade) are affected by this; Grass dies and turns into Dirt, and will not grow back until the dirt is replaced. Trees and vegetation disappear. All mobs die and will not spawn anywhere in the effect areas. The player will not die. Grass will not die if snow is covering it. There is a .000001% chance of this happening each day.
I don't care if its been said before or if it's a game, this is not how a solar flare works or what it does at all.
The only effect a solar flare should have if ANY is breaking redstone circuits. But that would be in the case of an extremely powerful solar flare and the magnetosphere of the planet would have to be very very weak for this to occur.
Quote from ThatTrafficCone »A fuse box is made like this:
A fuse box can only get lightning from an energized lightning rod, and to do so you must connect it to the rod using red dust. when the rod is struck, the energy transfers from the rod to the fuse box. The fuse box can now be removed and used to make electric fences and energize water. To do so, simply stick the fuse box next to a fence/in the water, and hit it to turn its effects on/off. You can tell when something is energized by white streaks moving freely around the fence/in the water.
Maybe fuse boxes could be used to make lanterns?
Neither fuses nor fuse boxes store electricity. Fuses are a 'sacrificial overcurrent protection device'. They're used to prevent damage to wires or devices in the case of excessive current by one of two methods. Tripping (temporarily interrupting the circuit by breaking the connection) which is easily reset by putting the fuse back in the right place, and blowing (temporarily interrupting the circuit by breaking the fuse) which causes the fuse to require replacement.
If you want something that STORES electricity you want a capacitor or battery. More than likely a battery.
Feb 17, 2011Posted in: SuggestionsQuote from zomgguitarz1234 »The change:
-Creepers don't start on fire like zombies/skeletons instead
-They walk to darker areas and hide in there (underneath trees aren't dark enough, but a exposed cave/mine would be)
-If no dark area is available they walk in the opposite direction the player is in (if they don't see him) and despawn when far enough away. Like they're returning to their home.
In my opinion the most powerful and destructive enemy in the game shouldn't be out during the day, let there be enemys during the day, but not creepers for god sake.
What in the world are you talking about, they already do this.
Every creeper I've ever seen does all of these things already. They don't burn in daylight, I've seen them hide in darker places (under trees), and I've watched them walk away and despawn when out of sight.
Feb 17, 2011Cool maps, but I really hate how laggy they are while playing. My game hitches up every 2-5 seconds while walking around in a new area. Never did that for standard maps.Posted in: Minecraft Tools
I found a really big cave/tomb system and I got so frustrated trying to get out I ended up killing myself lol

Jan 22, 2011Posted in: Resource PacksQuote from nocturnal7x »This is an excellent pack. The only thing I changed was the water (too green for my taste).
Please consider a 128x128 and 256x256 version in the future. All 3 may be much to ask for (personally I would like a 256) just a though cause these textures fit the game very well.
I use it, I love it!
256x256? You are mad sir! She canno' handle it!
Jan 21, 2011I was on a server a couple of weeks ago that had a mod that allowed players to use /spawn commands to spawn items (didn't allow infinite though) and I need to find it for a friend's server. Does anyone know what mod that is and where I can find it?Posted in: Server Support and Administration
Thanks in advance.
Jan 20, 2011Hrm. I don't 100% understand the flatness problem with 128x Misa. I've used Soulscribe's old 128 pack and it didn't seem flat, or am I missing something? (Probably am)Posted in: Resource Packs
Could you give an example or something? I'm not sure how you could explain it better but if you could that would be great.
Jan 19, 2011Posted in: DiscussionQuote from cantPMwhenBANNED »What would it be?
I would get rid of the creeper. Absurdly crappy looking design and serves no dynamic to actual combat. Yes, I know you're a big fan. Shut up.
That and gravel. At the very least I'd give it a texture that doesn't look terrible. And, yes, I know you use texture packs. Shut up.
I'd get rid of you

Large bug, if it hasn't already been reported: When crafting at the table, if you leave something on the table it will throw out duplicates you can't pick up. So basically you'll have items lying there that arent.
Additionally if you throw something out of your inventory it will spawn the item like above, but will remain in your inventory.
You can pick them up but you have to have the same item in your inventory and you have to pick it up and set it down in your inventory. Every time you do, it'll add one of the floating duplicates to a separate slot.

just replace the minecraft file in the bin folder with the new one
and btw I just did parkour...
it was glorious!
Will it work if I duplicate my Minecraft folder and name it like "Minecraft Test" or something? I don't want to mess up my regular MC stuff.
