mkay. I didn't get an infraction I don't believe, and I know these don't count towards post counts, but it's fun.

Either way they're good and bad in their own way, and the closest thing I've seen to what nearly every parkour map should look was riddled with memes and references to youtubers.

In fact I've heard of this map, and it's called Epic Jump Map by Bodil4o. It's pretty good I guess but I see what you mean.

    posted a message on Big Sister Gulliver Minecraft Server {Whitelisted, Forge}

    1) What is your Minecraft username (or "IGN")?
    My IGN is _PopTartZimbie_ .

    2) Please explain why you would like to join the Server.
I would love to join this server because it looks beautiful from the trailer, and Gulliver just might be my favorite mod. This server looks small, and I'm not much of a fan of larger servers, because of chat Spam, and client side lag. The buildings on this server and the mere concept amazes me. For example, the idea of gold with small players as balls sort of amuses as well as interests me. I think this server would be a great experience to play on. Most of the time I don't really have much to do and this server seems like something I could spend hours on end playing.

    3) Please explain how your talents, skills, experience, personality traits, and aspirations can help contribute positively to our server.
So I'd say my building credibility is not high, in the sense of people knowing. I would say I'm a pretty good builder but making a large map doesn't interest me. My skills and talents, apart from video games, would probably be school, as I try way too hard for school and as a result get some of the highest grades in my school. Another thing would be Redstone, as for me it's very similar to real life circuitry in the way it works. Some of my personality traits would be being rather upbeat all the time and having, if this is a word, a retort-ish sense of humor. My humor has gone so far as making small, not-so-good animations about strange characters I create. To add, on a scale of one to ten, I would rate my self an 8.8 maturity wise. Finally, my aspirations would be to find my path in life. I know it's cliché, but I'm serious about that.

    4) Please list five random facts about yourself that can help differentiate you from other players.
Here's a list of five random, and probably strange, facts about me.

    1. I have two beautiful pugs named Jacques and Francis.
    2. Probably nobody in the world can beat me at puzzles; especially word puzzles. Any puzzle from jigsaw to crossword, just clicks for me.
    3. Origami. Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper. I design my own origami models and teach them to my friends so they can bragant teach it to their friends. I was the one who popularized Origami in my school.
    4. Sometimes, at night, instead of sleeping, i just watch Anime 'til 7:00 in the morning. Then I sleep.
    5. I eat almost nothing for a week, then I eat a country one day the next week. I know this isn't healthy, but it's a habit.

    5) To ensure you understand your rights and responsibilities on our server, please read the Novice's Creed, and write down one right or responsibility that you enjoy the most.

    8. You have the right to harvest wood or public crops, so long as you replant these.

I honestly hate when someone on a survival server just plows through land, leaving no player, pig, or plant behind. This right will keep the server beautiful.

    6) And finally, to confirm that you read the Big Sister Server Quick Guide please write down the name of the official server currency.
    Cheese.

I will, but Do you see your avatar? Is that your skin? If not, where did you find the image? If I can track the username I can make any tweaks you might need. If that Is your skin, give me the image and I will make any changes you might need.

posted a message on Minecraft pi edition is dead

Mojang should abandon the Pi edition. It's not going to take off, and they probably spent more money porting it than made selling it. In the PC version, however, they should have some homage to it, like a raspberry pie that works like cake in the game or at least a mention in the splash text on the main screen or the credits.

So, this'll be a short thread. All it is is that I can't get Shaders to work with Optifine without my Forge 1.8 launcher crashing. How can I fix this?

posted a message on Too much Parkour ._.

Parkour maps are overflowing the maps section. Most of these aren't even good, simply a superflat world with a bunch of blocks spread apart 'til you get to the cake. What I want to see is an adventure map, or a Minecraft remake of a popular video game. At the very least, I want a Parkour map with an interesting catch, like a map called Jumpless where it made good use of the mechanic where if your Jump Boost is too high, you can't jump. I wouldn't mind a Parkour map or two, but I'm tired of "PaRkOuR MaNiA! Can you jump your way across the ravine?" It's almost spam for me, where I can't find an interesting orgood looking map for ages. I know there is no way I or anyone can fix this, but if you read this, please, I say please, don't bump bad parkour maps by writing an angry review, or join the bandwagon on the pie chart.

posted a message on Oh, 1.9, why...

The upcoming update for Minecraft, 1.9: The Combat Update, is getting an overly large amount of hate. I think it's something new, and if you don't like it, Minecraft has the option to downgrade your version from the launcher. A few things I expect are why people don't/do like it:

    • A sharpness V hoe is the best weapon. Yeah, I don't get it either.
    • Glitchy maps. I hope this will be fixed, but you never know.
    • Maps are now at a default 1:4 scale. A lot of people don't seem to like this, but if you don't, you can put shears and a map in a crafting table now.
    • Shulkers. I love Shulkers. they can be walked on like a block, pushed by a piston, and give you the new levitation effect. This is awesome and with some re-textures, this can be considered a map-making update.
    • I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard that mobs pushing you, and pushing players are added. I will have to put this to the test, but I will hate this if this is true. Not only is pushing players going to set up a whole new way to troll (put a chest with diamonds, push player into obsidian box/ravine while he is distracted), but also st up a whole new way to rage quit: Cows push you down a ravine.

I wouldn't say I'm very updated on these 1.9 news posts, so I don't know much, but reply down here what you think 1.9 will fail at, succeed at, ruin, or fix in the comments below. I want to see what you think, and thiswill help me learn about 1.9 without having to read every post or watch every update news YouTube video.

posted a message on BeastCraft's Puzzle/Parkour Challenge Map [5830+ DLs!!]

So here's my review. It was definitely a good map for a first map. Was a bit small on the story and the atmosphere was kind of more of a quiz map over, for example, a testing chamber or similar. Short, but short is sometimes good. Just look at The Genius Machine by TVB. Good job, good job, I expect you can make great maps with enough work, you seem to have the hang of it. I do not, however, see the adventure aspect of it, but that's really it. Nice job!
