This has been going on for the previous few months. Whenever I join SMP servers I always randomly disconnect. Often I can't reconnect, getting "Internal client error: java.net.connectException: Connection timed out: connect" or simply "Took too long to log in" (currently have been trying to log in to my server of choice for ten minutes or so). Every now and then it does do a full crash, however I have not saved any of those error messages. The most common message I get when I disconnect is "Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed" or "Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error"
This was not happening when I first started playing, and it has persisted over multiple servers. I've tried completely wiping Java and Minecraft and re-installing, to no avail. Does anyone know what is the issue or how to fix? Any help would be much appreciated.

The abuse stopped, so one way or another, it worked.
Meteor came in, and the person stripped of OP powers bitched at him.
I believe he then banned everyone in the room.
