It bothers me they have headcrests like cockatoos for some reason, as all parrots are based on macaws. Also, kids DO NOT feed a chocolate cookie to real birds. Mojang got avocados right, but also forgot chocolate/cocoa is just as poisonous to parrot species.

All parrots are based on macaws, the green one is a military macaw:

I'm skeptical on this set. It would seem much better in the 110$-120$ range, about 50 bucks more than a regular 1600 box set. I know some new blocks were made for this, but that doesn't seem to support almost a 200 dollar mark-up.

Vanilla trees will never replace blocks, I believe since 1.6.
Around 1.5 they could replace torches/slabs but not full blocks.

They can only get dragons if they can get eggs, if you can remove eggs then you should be good. Also, dragons can only mate once from what I know.

Yea I do remain hopeful for the continuation of 1.7.10 at least until most mods are 1.9-1.10.
As it stands now a mod for 1.9 that isn't alpha is relatively non-existent.

Is there any plans or anybody planning to fix the baby dragon clipping issue for the 1.7.10 version? I would love it greatly.

Well found out toucans are suicidal and like to drown themselves on periodic occasions.

I wonder if he'll do any bug fixes for the 1.7.10 version, that end water glitch is really bugging me.

Running into the portal trees duping again. I entered a tree in a forest biome, reentered the tree in the betweenlands, came out in an extreme hills biome about 500 blocks away.
It hasn't happened in the betweenlands since 1.0.3 but still occasionally happens in the overworld.

Putting a § or & with the color you want (http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Formatting_codes) in front of the item/block's name could work.
However this is unsure.

Ether make a new config or go to general settings (and its not in the defaults folder) and turn off the option that updates the defaults.
The other config file you can be named whatever as long as it is in that folder with the defaults.

If you have WinZip/7Zip/Etc. open up the .jar file and follow the folders to textures:
customitems-1.0.9_beta_1.7.10.jar\assets\customitems\textures\blocks\
customitems-1.0.9_beta_1.7.10.jar\assets\customitems\textures\items\
Then drag and drop your textures there.
Alternately, you could make a resource pack to fill the same role (same pathing too). I like doing it to the mod instead so people can't turn the resource pack off and wonder why textures broke.

Ah, well I hope someone maintains 1.7.10 afterwords. To be honest, I really dislike 1.9, for various reasons (none pertaining to the combat though i'm fine with that).
Also, I speak to people like Lycanite frequently and so far 1.9 modding doesn't seem to be significantly better than 1.8. Though I guess all have to update someday to appeal to rabid fans, who will then complain about the bugs, then suddenly 1.10 and beyond.
It kinda seems like Mojang WANTS modders to fall behind like this sometimes.
On a random note, is there going to be abit more additions to 1.7.10 before total switch? I'm still hoping for a config for turning the betweenlands music off so it won't conflict with the musicchoices mod.
(Also, wana see that stalker, but that is a personal thing)

So any plans to mess with the 1.7.10 version after 1.9 features are being fleshed out? If not, do you plan to opensource that version so others may backport?
I currently have the same issue, most good mods are still 1.7.10. Some have updated but are terribly alpha with 1.9 at the moment.

How to add metadata to blocks you want to drop something? Example, I want spruce leaves to drop something but not oak/jungle/birch.
minecraft:leaves-0.05-false-true-false_____i-harvestcraft:pamcinnamonSapling-1-1
EDIT: Nevermind I feel silly, I completely overlooked where metadata is placed.
Another Edit: Or I thought I did, I have tried the other decaying variants or leaves, set the drop too 100%, yet still see no sign of my drop.
minecraft:leaves-0.05-false-true-false-3_____i-harvestcraft:pamcinnamonSapling-1-1
minecraft:leaves-0.05-false-true-false-9_____i-harvestcraft:pamcinnamonSapling-1-1

Odd, they work for me, instead of going to dropbox I just get the option to save the mod file.
