posted a message on The Monotonous End Problem

I really like most of your ideas, however I do think some of them are out of place.

-End Grass and Sand. Grass period feels incredibly out of place in the End, even if it was more like mycellium I'd say no. On the subject of sand though, the same way we have Red Sand in Mesa's I think an 'End Sand' block with a purple coloration would look great.

-Prismarine. It just doesn't make sense, a block from the depths of the ocean coming from the End? Rather I think a unique, purple end ore used for decorative blocks and maybe some other uses (especially magic themed) would be perfect.

-Biomes. I'd definitely prefer more unique biomes rather then corruptions of Overworld themes, although this would require some more unique End blocks.

-Water. Doesn't make any sense in the End, if the Endermen hate it why does it naturally occur in their home?

-Mobs. I do think more hostile mobs are a nessecity. More Endermen variations, another mob in the End Cities, and probably another structure or two for more mobs and loot. I love the idea of an End Beetle since Elytra is based on real life beetles, I think it would be cool if it dropped an Elytra Fragment rarely (wither skeleton drop rate). Combine 9 of them together and you get an Elytra, making them renewable.

posted a message on Water Suggestions

Sounds cool! However, a few suggestions and ideas:

-For the fish mob, I think fishing should stay as is (maybe with the addition of the appearance of a fish mob underneath the water when it comes at your bobber), and their should be different types for all four species of fish (Cod, Salmon, Clownfish and Pufferfish). Cod would only spawn in rivers, lakes and pods, salmon would spawn everywhere, and both clownfish and pufferfish would be exclusive to the ocean.

-For the aquatic village, it should look like undersea ruins, with blocks eroded and missing.

-And lastly for the aquarium, I think the one block aquarium should be limited to one fish, like a fishbowl, but the larger one should have a maximum of 5 fish, since it is an aquarium and not just a bowl.

posted a message on Ender Acid Geysers

Sounds cool, interesting, and unique. Maybe combining the block in a crafting table with a water bucket, lava bucket, bucket of milk or lingering potion could change the liquid type of the geyser into these things. Maybe even fire charges for a flame geyser?

I really like this idea, support! It would make more sense if the mob dropped Ender Pearls though, since by the time you're in the end Eye of Enders are pretty useless.

posted a message on Which is more important to you, building nice looking houses, or building bases meant only for survival.

Aesthetics by far. Aesthetic houses can almost always be made just as functional as efficient survival bases, and they look so much better.

I do like the idea but the suggestion itself is pretty vague, you should expand on each of your ideas and flesh them out.

I like the idea of more abandoned villages, but the loot is insanely overpowered. Loot for these should be the same tier as mineshafts and dungeons, and have a few mob spawners as well.

posted a message on Show us your End builds!

With 1.9 having released, the End has received a major overhaul, with a new block palette, and an infinite world just like the Overworld and the Nether. With that in mind, I'd love to see some builds you guys have made in the End, or using the End blocks! (End blocks meaning, obsidian, endstone, purpur, etc.)

You could use the 1.9 version of BoP :P

Didn't see there was an actual 1.9 version since it wasn't listed in the OP, thanks \o/

posted a message on Biomes O' Plenty - Over 50 new biomes, with new trees, plants, mobs, and more!

Now that 1.9 Forge is out Not Enough Mods has Biomes o' Plenty listed as already compatible with 1.9. I know some other mods already work with 1.9 due to how minor the changes are, can anyone confirm or comment on how it's working?

How's this? Tell me if something needs fixing.

Looks great! Do you think you could replace the pale blue texture with the appropriate pixels from the Steve skin? Thanks!

posted a message on Is the Minecraft Story Mode Setting on a Multiversion Minecraft?

Story Mode isn't a game, it's a world. It's not bound to a Minecraft version because from an in-character perspective it's not just a game of Minecraft, it's a universe, in a multiverse of Minecraft worlds.
