Thats the whole point of peaceful, so people dont have to play with mobs if they dont want to.
Personally I find the game pointless on peaceful but whatever...
I dont recall anyone here ever whining. All I did was make a suggestion. By this logic, if anyone 'has trouble' with an enemy in any game they are 'idiots'.

We're talking about a FULLY changeable world, that means you can change your sorroundings into anything you like...
To me, that makes the game incredibly easy.

trouble with creepers infront of door?-Make a moat/cactus wall/fence/cobblestone wall
creepers jumping from your roof?-Make a ladder leading to your roof from inside your base,and put torches on the roof
All it takes is a little THINKING...like ive said before, i support the idea of a mob checklist, but I dont want nerfed creepers just because some people dont like challenges.
I think that all you whiners are idiots if you have trouble with the current mobs...seriously the game is NOT hard.

But I agree that a menu that allows you to pick which mobs you want to spawn in your game would be a great idea, and it would finally end the hardcore vs non hardcore arguing.

@OP The skeleton riding a spider has existed for some time now, but they are pretty rare.
I would also wish for more frequent updates, but he is only 1man, and i understand it takes time and a lot of work.
I dunno if Notch has a job other than MC, IMO if he does he should quit it and only focus on developing MC, he struck gold with this game and i can see ALOT of potential here, imagine what MC is gonna be like in a few years, id have no problem paying for expansions later on and dlc or whatever if the content is good.

I found a freakin neverending cave and after ~5hrs in there I only had 2diamonds....then I drowned in lava.
