Spigot. It's updated for 1.8.3, it's faster and lighter than Bukkit, and its got more features. Bukkit was already losing traction by the time they decided to shut it down.

That's interesting. My friend came into my server and she couldn't click on things until I gave her OP.

Like building elevators and such, would that require modding? This game is fully built to play on without mods, is that correct?

Was it around the spawn area? Minecraft has a default spawn protection area where only OPs can build. You can disable it in server.properties.

As for elevators, you'd need plugins, unless you want to deal with redstone and stuff.

posted a message on Need Config For Crate Reloaded

Why don't you create it yourself? It's lazy to not do it yourself, and you're also doing yourself a disservice because by having someone else do it for you, you're not learning anything. If that config stops working, who's going to provide the next one? I don't intend to sound rude, but seriously, make an attempt at it! You can't learn if you don't try.

posted a message on Minecraft forum posts on swiftlygames.com ??????

This website basically loads MCF within its own site, and then injects its own ads. I'd assume a malicious site like this would be hosted offshore in order to ignore DMCA notices, but yet again, as far as I know, mirroring a live website and putting a frame over it is isn't a violation of any DMCA guidelines.

Well, look at the tick log. TNTRun is hogging resources, even though you're not using any TNT.

    Again, I need logs.

TNTRun is hogging more resources than usual. I'd temporarily disable it and see what happens. Otherwise, logs would be really helpful.

Post a detailed app in other topics. No server that has any chance of being successful will accept you with such little information, nor do they come and seek out people like this.

posted a message on Minecraft on the Wii U?
It won't happen. Not because of Microsoft - they're more than willing to bring things to competitors' systems, it just depends - but it would be a wasted effort. The Wii U, while it always maintains that Nintendo "feel" hasn't sold extremely well, and there is not enough demand for it to justify the time and money that would go into it. The Wii U came way too late, and therefore, it is suffering tremendously.

posted a message on You and GoDaddy; How to use your domain for your server.
    Quote from Ydoc1999»
Godaddy only allows for you to use dedicated ip addresses meaning 25565, so if you have a server ip with a port other than 25565, then it will not work.

    1. You're completely wrong. GoDaddy doesn't handle the ports. it only handles the actual numeric address (128.0.1 for example, but not 128.0.1:25582). So, you can have a domain point to an address, but if you have a port that is not the same as the default used by the application (e.g. 25565 for Minecraft, 80 for a webserver) then you'll have to include the port. The port is ALWAYS handled by the application (in the case of an A record, but this changes if you are using an SRV record), NOT the DNS provider.

    2. Pay attention to the last post date.
