As a person who plays almost exclusively in deserts the heat system is brutal to the point of being discouraging and annoying versus being a fun challenge, as I'm constantly having to dive into the water every minute and a half or so to not die. Being indoors should bring rising body heat to a crawl if not stand still except maybe during midday, and aggravated in summer when you would then need coils. In short, enclosed spaces should insulate against ambient temperature change. The system for this is already in place, the coils can detect when their in an enclosed space, just add this to the player heat modifiers.
At the very least add a config for how much heat modifiers effect players, and a early tier heat resistant clothing like head wraps/robes.
Just found out about this mod. How haven't I heard about this, 'cus holy hell this is going places! The theme, the models, the atmosphere! It's all perfect and it's not even finished yet!
Well guys, after performing some rather questionable experiments, I pumped this out. It's the second iteration of the Corruption Engine. (Original: http://imgur.com/a/jvp71) It's not done yet. I've only got one module done so far, but I couldn't resist not posting it. I'll finish the others later. For those of you more curious on how it works, Here's an album I didn't put out publicly before about the inner workings of my first Corruption Engine. ( http://imgur.com/a/B43JO ).
That is insanely cool, industrialized taint >:) I'm soooo going to build a few of those essentia factories in my next play through. Makes me think though...is there any way to turn essentia into RF/ MJ / EU?
While you guys seem to be discussing manabeans, I have some bad news. I am considering completely removing the ability for beans to be used as an aspect source. They will probably only give herba essential when melted down. Honestly, I should probably have done this ages ago.
Nothing is set in stone yet and it won't happen in the next patch or two. This is just a heads up. First I have to find a replacement use for mana beans that would justify their existence and make the effort of breeding them worthwhile. I am toying with a few ideas.
Suggestions, comments and flames welcome
Not sure extaly how I feel about this to be honest...
Just a cool suggestion: make it where the withering gaze thing is stopped by a void hood. Just picture it, the dark lord lifts back his hood reveling his perusing gaze, as the poor infidel has his life withered away.

As always I find it hilarious that the name misdirection is still happening near a decade on.

Oh, also, a way to hide modifiers visually because they can look derpy sometimes and I also just like the look of the plan weapons.

-Serious over-haul in the balance department. I mean really, the ability to deal 200 damage is just broken, 40 maybe 50 should be the highest you
can get and only is you spend an obscene amount of materials. 20-30 should be the norm. EDIT: btw, what current makes it broken is the modifiers
not bace tools, so you can leave those alone.
-Add Khopech, their primary purpose was to get around shields and other defenses as well to disarm and were fairly good at parying.
-Small % to disarm when blocking
-Slightly less effective then a broad sword at blocking
-As for defense nullification, it would need to open a small window of time in-which armor is ignored and not just completely by-pass it like rapiers
(which should only ignore a % of armor in my opinion)
-I thought up a way this could be done; When an entity is hit with the khopech it receives a short potion effect that when it runs out it makes
armor act as if it isn't there (possibly another poison effect). The length of the poison effect(s) need to be balanced.
-Also, small bug report. I don't think the bigger weapons aren't counted as weapons by the game because the sword pedestal from bibleocraft won't
accept them.
