    I get this on world load, placing a network chest, or hitting the escape key to pause the game, and if i exit the save and re-enter the chest is empty. i run linux if that means anything, and it seems since its trying to use forward and backslashes thats causing issues there. Also if it matters, i'm using MultiMC. Except for this issue, i love the mod

    There's the last 1.2.5 version. It does, however, use ModLoader and ModLoaderMP rather than Forge.


    There seem to be some ID conflicts here. It should have generated a config file, so change them there to fix it. There might be more problems, so if you have good IDs and it still crashes, tell me and I'll look into it.

    EDIT: Hm, yeah. I just tested a server with only my mods installed and it gave me an error. I'll fix it and update the download.

    EDIT Again: With further testing, it seems like Adventure Kit's SMP is still broken as well. Fixing...

    3rd and final EDIT: Fixed and updated the downloads for both mods. Redownload them and it should work.

    yea, im still workin out the id conflicts but sweet thanks for the fast fix. testing pretty soon

    we tried tossing your simpleguns on our server, and this is the output from the ForgeModLoader log file. http://pastebin.com/vY0vaarp , it wont start with it, we got forge, and you say its forge compatible, so is that just an issue with the update that needs to be worked out? its an epic mod, i use it in single player :)

    yea i isolated the bad mod, it was Coro's Weather Mod... why my friend likes it on his server.. I'll never guess lol... but yea.. my bad, shoulda isolated first.

    This isn't really a BIG deal, but its an interesting observation, its not a game crasher but according to the log window for Magic Launcher this gets spammed until i pause the game with the esc key.

    Again, not a big deal, but yea, an interesting observation is all :)

    There's a definition of game cheats. Guess what BuildCraft or RedPower would be considered BY DEFINITION in combination with other mods? A cheat! Multi-player cant have an economy because as it was stated, multi-player is just Single player*number of players, on one map.

    Ok, after reading this whole thread, I have to say Ecu, like some people have said, it's play style, YOU like adding a purpose for the player, for example: to stay maybe within 10 blocks of their base in case something breaks down so they can fix it, and that's cool, you think that mixing mods together lets you exploit certain things and advance too quickly is bad and calls for immediate patching, that's cool and your opinion too, its play style and how you use the mods, the mods are merely tools, either you use the tool how you like, or you leave it in the toolbox.
    Personally, i take things light and easy, only use machines a certain way, or not make certain machines. Point is, most people are just fine with the state of mods, me included, and you are making your own mod/game anyway, so why the call for a change in mods? just because automation is too easy and exploitable with multiple mods that conveniently work well together or expose something developer of mod X didn't even imagine or doesn't care that this function of mod Y taking advantage of?
    I see your point Ecu, and I disagree entirely, in my opinion, the game is as balanced as you set your limits to be, Minecraft, is a sandbox, its open ended, allowing you to live your Minecraft life how you please, as I said earlier in my post, mods are merely tools to change your Minecraft experience. You are making your own tools for your toolbox, and the rest of us have our toolboxes which we use the current mods to fill. So in my opinion, your opinion that mods need be balancing, is rather flimsy. No disrespect or offence, if any was taken, was intended, just my two cents.

    tl;dr Some people view automation in mods and inter-mod functions differently than others, just because it doesn't fit your view, doesn't mean it doesn't fit ours and needs nerfing or changing.

    thank you for continuing his mods, i need to browse the forums more often, anyhow, did you do anything about the 30 million block IDs he used originally? yea i know its an exaggeration and that forge ships with the 4096 fix, but still i think its a BIT excessive dontcha think? anyway, kudos to you for continuing his mods and i will be using them for sure :) also, i believe the mod uses coal dust if i recall correctly? did u add a recipe to use IC2 coal dust in lieu of the mod's? just curious

    HOLY FREAKIN CRAP! ok, now that i got my OMG THIS IS AMAZING thing out of the way, your texture pack looks amazing, while mixing and matching textures typically doesn't look terribly great, I'll use some sphax textures while I await your potential IC² textures, if you plan on making them, this is just the kind of texture pack I'm looking for, and you support a couple tech mods yourself :D amazing. I like the way it looks, get some default building generation goin, and you got yourself an abandoned civilization or something
