Preferred Playstyle: building, exploring
Favorite Aspect of SMP: building, exploring, chat, helping others with things, trading
Least Favorite Aspect of SMP: I can't think of anything really.
Can't wait to see what you've all built. And I can't wait to make a humble home in your server. If your really cool, I may ask several of my friends to join me. I'm the scout.

If there already is some, please point me to them, but only if they were made for this pack. Sphax is the best.Posted in: Resource Packs
Jun 7, 2012With the music turned off I have noticed that Minecraft is a very silent game. Ambient sounds can really take it to a whole new level of immersion, sometimes in a passive way.Posted in: Suggestions
Imagine jungle bioms that sound like a jungle. Coastlines where you can hear the ocean. Lakes where you can hear the subtle movement of the fresh water. Wind flowing over the grassy plains. Birds singing in a lush forest.
Underground can have a close air, cave sound to it. Perhaps even make the sound of your working and gathering echo a little. Close to underground water, have a damp dripping of water ambiance.
Ambient sound can do a lot to set the emotional stage, and if it's done right, it can do it in a very subtle way.
Just an idea.

Can someone please make a youtube video or a step by step list of what I need to do to get this to work. I have been trying all night and now for 2 hours after work.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
If someone has time, please. Seems I can't even get OptiFine to work much less anything past that point. I know I'm doing it wrong, I have to be.
Edit. OK, I think I got OptiFine installed with Modloader. Now what do I do so not to mess this install up?

I just spent an hour reading about OptiFine, MagicLauncher, and these shaders, only to find out that all my time is wasted.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
And adfly is a trashy site. Just sayin.

May I also add a piston together?
I thought THIS was the Soartex piston texture. And I like it a lot. :tongue.gif:

when will you be adding textures?
I love this texture pack. I hope you keep updating it. Looking forward to the 1.8 and beyond additions.
Aug 15, 2011Is there a map gen that can make the map mostly ocean with islands?Posted in: Discussion
I miss the old Alpha map generation, where it was a limited space. An Island, and then ocean.
In todays map generation, the maps are (almost) endless. But that's not bad. If there were a map gen that made maps with mostly ocean with islands that are distant, that would be great! It would be a lot like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, with Islands to sail to and explore what other players build there (On SMP servers).
Is there something out there that can do this? If there is, please point me to it.
