I really like the idea . SUPPORT.
A really good idea to fit old cobblestone into the game !
Thanks! ;D I appreciate it! (I just hope Mojang sees my /r/minecraftsuggestions version of this posts & they like it too. Mojang doesn't visit the Minecraft Forums, I've been told.)
I had a similar thought a while ago, but is probably different enough that it could be a different suggestion: after a long time (a year or two in-game time) Cobblestone blocks that are exposed to sunlight become eligible to randomly turn into Moss Stone.
Perhaps it should be called 'Cracked Cobblestone' similar to stone brick and its variants. Anyway, I kinda liked the old texture of cobblestone in my builds so support
I thought about that, but 1: Cobblestone kind of already looks cracked, but I know what you're getting at.
2: It being aged is kind of the purpose, although Cracked Cobblestone is a nice idea... maybe you can post that on this forum! ;D
I appreciate the support. =)
Story: The Mossy Cobblestone texture wasn't updated when the current Cobblestone texture came out for a reason. It's because (They probably forgot, but here's a story for it that kind of covers up for that. =]) when the Cobblestone texture got changed, some old Cobblestone blocks survived. The Mossy Cobblestone you see today are those remaining old Cobblestone blocks. (Because Mossy Cobblestone is aged, that's why it's all covered in vines & moss & stuff.)
How to obtain: It's simple, just smelt Mossy Cobblestone. (Image) My reasoning for this is... well remember when I said that Mossy Cobblestone is mossy & vine-y because it's aged? Well this ties in with that. If you smelt Mossy Cobblestone, It will burn off all of the moss & stuff, revealing the old Cobblestone. It's also obtainable by lighting a Mossy Cobblestone block on fire, causing the block to update because it's like you're burning off all of the moss/vines. (The Flint and Steel method was suggested by AGmukbooks, from reddit.) This block would be available in Creative Mode & with the /give command. =D
Possible Uses: It could be just used in builds in place of regular Cobblestone for nostalgic people, It could be used in a checkerboard pattern with Cobblestone or Mossy Cobblestone, or it could be randomly placed in those large Cobblestone paths people like to make (for like a cracked stone effect), the possibilities are virtually limitless.

Something went horribly wrong with the previous download, so here's a new one! Also, new stuff! =D
In short, This resource pack is basically the default resource pack with a twist! Pictures are down below! =D
Textures:
Cobblestone:
I changed it from the very 1st cobblestone texture ever to the very 2nd Cobblestone texture ever! =D
Emerald, Block of Emerald & Emerald Ore:
These have all been changed to Ruby! (Sorry the screenshot is so off-center. =P)
Painting:
Emerald & Ruby ore! =D
Birch Wood:
It's the 1st wood texture ever in Minecraft! =D As you may have already noticed, I'm kind of a fan of the older textures. Just something about them is really unique & likeable for me but I can't quite put my finger on it... =P
Oak Sapling:
That's right! Another old texture! =D I changed this one back just because A: I don't think that a change was necessary, I mean I get that they were trying to make the plants more than just light green, but both textures are fine. B: Because with modern Minecraft's diversity, an older texture really stands out. =D
TNT:
Nothing really to say about this one except how cool it looks. =D
Bed: [I don't have any picture for it yet, but there will be one here soon! =D]
Pumpkin:
That's right! Normal-looking Pumpkins! =D (I just recently found out you could do this without my resource pack, but it's only availible with /setblock. XP)
Bedrock:
For some reason, I (unintentionally) changed the Bedrock texture to the 1st ever Cobblestone texture. This will probably be fixed within the next update of this resource pack! ;D
Item Frames:
The wood surrounding the item frame now matches the new (or old, I guess) wood planks texture! =D
i feel that this would ruin the balance of the game. although its more realistic, NOBODY will need to turn to easy any more (well unless ur after endermen and stuff). bones also have a good use in farming and taming wolves, and it would be better if bones are more scarce.
it would be nice to have bone replace sticks in certain crafting recipes, though.
Are you trying t tel me the only reason people go on Easy Mode is to get bones?

Expect a 1.8 version when those updates start to come out! =D
I will be adding Pigmen, but they probably won't be until the 1.8 release of this resource pack.
I don't own Shroobs, I'm only using it because of my MC username.
Block models will be coming! =D

Also, the same thing with Mycelium, except with one of the 2 types of Mushroom instead of a Tall Grass.
