When I first heard about minecraft and saw pictures of it I tought that this was some stupid indie game that hipsters play cause of the 8bit artstyle. Then I tried it out one boring day out of curiosity. I fell in love with it and played it for days in a row.
The first day I died a hundred times and I was so proud of myself when I got iron stuff; and I was totally afraid in caves when i got down to diamond level because i was afraid to lose all my stuff.
I also got lost a bunch of times cause I got so excited about exploring, and i never found my way back. Every time I was like "okay, I will start a new life here". Then when I finally built a decent base, I died and spawned back at 0 cause at that time i didn't knew that beds set your spawn-point. I probably had a bunch of these bases all around the world and i had no idea where any of them were with my stuff there
NeedlessWolf I checked out your last video and you should try to improve the sound quality. The video and the audio is also out of sync at places. If you amend these then your vids would be more enjoyable
Now we wait... I'm not happy about this at all, but this could turn out pretty well if Microsoft uses their resources smartly and doesn't ruin the game with micro-transactions. But I doubt that they won't incorporate some kind of method in the game to squeze more money out of it.
I can't decide if this is going to be a good thing or a terrible one... On one hand the resources of Microsoft could benefit the game very much. On the other... Microsoft is Microsoft. A huge corporation. If they own the game they might not care about us and do whatever they want with it. They might not listen to the community anymore as a smaller developer would and just try to suck as much money out of it as possible.
It's up to Mojang if they want to take the risk of ruining their game for cash. We have to make our voices heard in the hope that they will listen to us and don't ruin the game that we love. Either Mojang or Microsoft owns it.
