Cubik has been updated with tons new features and also support the new Minecraft JSON format (as well as old formats). You can continue working on your models, convert them or make new ones easily.
A new video tutorial has been released which illustrates how to export OBJ from Blender and import OBJ in Cubik, have fun watching it:
Just thought I'd add a heads up: Some GUI elements are still missing for the Realms screen (remove/op player, specifically). Confused the heck out of me until I temporarily switched back to the default
Those missing GUI for Realms will be added in next update (when 1.8 will be officially released or maybe before).
my reeds file dosent look like that i dont have the top of the sugar cane
Ypu just need to change the reeds.png texture to draw the top/bottom of reeds. Or if you work in 16x, you just need to change UV for top/bottom on a zone where the reeds are there.
Do not hesitate to post any feedback here and/or ideas to improve the tool. Many features are already planned for future updates and I would love to continue adding things to the todolist.
BDcraft Cubik will allow everyone to design 3D Meshes with a bunch of Cubes and Planes. Cubik is very easy to use and can export 3D Models for Minecraft Blocks (since Snapshot 14w10a) as well as common 3D formats like .OBJ and .X3D! It can also import Minecraft Mesh and have many cool features to ease the work on the Mesh.
Move&Resize commands are directly accessible with Left and Right Mouse buttons and everything is designed to allow very fast work.
I spent countless hours working on it. Hope you'll like it
[...]issue with an item inside the game [...] it appears to be Rotten Flesh was replaced with Zombie Brains. My question, or perhaps request, would be, "is there a way to re-add Rotten Flesh or tweak settings in a way I could still use Zombie Brains for Thaumcraft 4 and Rotten Flesh for the bow in Better Archery"? [...]
In PureBDcraft, Rottenflesh has been "replaced" by Zombie Brain but this "replacement" is just a cosmetic replacement. The item "Zombie Brain" IS the same as Vanilla Rotten Flesh and acts the same. So if you need RottenFlesh somewhere, just use the Zombie Brain from PureBDcraft instead = same item.
@Sphax84 There is a problem with your texture pack. the following will explain the situation. On minecraft v1.6.4, Rotten Flesh exist in the game (item# 367), as we all know. when your texture pack is installed it changes the Rotten Flesh into Zombie Brain. Here is where the problems start to happen. When using "Tinker's Construct" along with your texture pack, one can not dry the rotten flesh on Tinker's Contruct Dry Racks. because for some odd reason, your texture pack is converting rotten flesh into zombie brain. how this is happening i have no clue. Please fix this problem, so I may use the features of the mods I install. thank you.
As said, PureBDcraft "Zombie Brain" is Vanilla "Rotten Flesh"...
If you can't change your mind to understand that, no problem, just edit the "en_US.lang" file with Notepad in the PureBDcraft ZIP file and delete the line "item.rottenFlesh.name=Zombie Brain".
[...] I play Minecraft in my language, Portuguese, and some characters, like ã, õ, Ê, etc., were missing, and signs and chat messages would become ilegible.[...]
Texture pack crashing game with an OpenGL error. Crashing when loading or staring a new world. Crashes with both texture packs for the 256 and 512 resolutions.

I'm using:
i5 3470
GTX 460
8GB of RAM
Minecraft 1.7.4
Magic Launcher 1.2.5 with 6144 MB of memory
OptiFine HD C7 1.7.4
GTX460 "only" have 1GB vRAM. It's not enough to support x512 resolution in Minecraft.
For x256, be sure to allocate more RAM to JAVA and use Optifine with Fast Clouds and Normal Light. If that still doesn't work, try deleting the folder "assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/ctm/clay" in the PureBDcraft ZIP file.
Hello I thought this would be the best place for you to see me, but I play modpacks and I get SphaxPurePBCraft for every one but I am never able to install any of the patches mainly because its so confusing. I'm not saying you need to create a patch for all the modpacks just add all the patches together in one download to make it easier for people like me. If even someone in the community did it would be a big help to me and other people like me.
PureBDcraft Updated! Now available for Minecraft Snapshot 14w06b!
Lot of new things added in this update, like all new stones + Connected textures for Red Giant Mushroom Skin + Support for custom damaged Pickaxes and Swords...
GrungeBDcraft has finally been updated for Minecraft 1.7!
Sorry for this looonnng inactivity on this version of the pack.
GrungeBDcraft has most (if not all) solid blocks and must be used with PureBDcraft (since Minecraft 1.7, you can use several ResourcePack at the same time). To use GrungeBDcraft, add PureBDcraft and then add GrungeBDcraft and check that "Grunge" is above "Pure".
Many blocks have been redone for this update. More details in 128x have been added and better rendering in general.
I would like to tell you that I've released some BDcraft Figs that you can get as real figs (thanks to 3D printing).
Here are some preview (click to enlarge):

Let me know on Twitter the 6th Fig you would like to see (Mob, skin, equipment, position...)

This is not a bug or an issue, really.
This issue will be fixed in the upcoming update.

And what do you think of them?
