    posted a message on The Pixelmon League - A Pixelmon Modpack Server!
    The Pixelmon League is a modded server running the Minecraft version of the ever so popular game, Pokemon, which happens to be the Pixelmon Mod. We use a custom modpack via the Technic Launcher that has everything required to download the correct modifications with a few clicks, you can find that modpack here. You must connect with this modpack otherwise the server will kick you, as you do not have the proper mods! Alternatively, you could connect with the mods: Pixelmon, customnpcs, ivs & evs, and PixelExtras installed in your default Minecraft Client.

    On The Pixelmon League, we currently have a few simple rules in place, mainly based around the idea of common sense and fairness. Some of those rules include:

    1. Only grief and or raid areas that are unclaimed. (Areas can be claimed using a golden shovel).
    2. Respect all players equally, including all forms of staff.
    3. Exploits, hacking, and modifications that are similar to hacking are not allowed.
    4. Do not be a general jerk. (Refer to Wheaton's Law).

    A Full set of rules can be seen ingame, at spawn.

    You can donate towards the server here, and you can check out the servers website (still being worked on!) here. We consider the server to be in "Beta" as we are still working on a few things and getting everything prioritized, but nothing we are working on will hinder gameplay in any form.

    I actually updated my Spigot version to the latest version, and then re-rendered the map completely, which seemed to fix the problem.

    I am also having this problem using the Spigot 1.8 alpha release download (File name is dynmap-HEAD). Is this a common issue with a simple fix, or is it simply because an outdated version of spigot is being used? (I believe my server on the other hand is running the current build of Spigot.)

    This server started out as a unique role play experience where the people can start building their own kingdoms and such, develop new ways of efficiency and such. As we started playing and such, we grew into a more reformed way of dealing with things and ideas. Thus birthed the ranking system of Alkasar. Serfs, Counts, Dukes, and Kings. All players start out and come into the Empire as serfs, but have the ability to ascend to a higher rank, most players usually make it to count, as it is required from their master to decide when they are ready to ascend to a higher rank. As you may be suspecting we have an interesting, but not entirely original, system of 'characters'. Essentially, in order to even gain acceptance onto the server, you must come up with some basic lore for your character. What I mean by this is where they came from, who they are, their dynasty, and so on, this can be as extensive as you want, or as simple as 1 paragraph. But these characters can surely cannot live forever, so, to combat this, it was decided that when you want to kill off a character, you can do some whenever, and you can come up with a new character in order to "succeed" the one you just killed. So, for instance, if I was role-playing the character, Ernest York III, I could control when he dies. So after probably a month or two of 'using' him, I'd post a thread on the server's website, announcing the death of my character. I would then specify how he'd be lived on by, which is usually depicted in the lore I originally used for the character. As for Ernest York III, he would be succeeded by his younger brother, Ron York II. This would simply just be a name change, and nothing more, no need to have multiple accounts, or anything like that.
    A lot, if not everything, on the server is lore based, and requires you too have a somewhat extensive knowledge of our lore, how things happened, and our kingdoms and such. But don't worry, this doesn't require a lot of time or anything, all you need to basically know is how the kingdoms came to be, and all the current dependencies (such as the counties, and duchies below kingdoms), but as that number grows, you will not be required to master them all. To also ensure all of our players opinions matter and such, we have also formed something similar to a Parliament. Previously, we had a legislative body known as The Council, in which the nobles only acted on server regulations and such. With a growing serf population, this could not be easily done, so after a revolution that ended in no deaths, the council was dissolved and a parliament was created where serfs can run as representatives, as soon as their is an ample amount to choose from and have legitimate elections.
    The Realms of Alkasar is a whitelisted, survival server. As a community (that is currently small), we do a lot of events together and have to cooperate a lot with each other on a daily basis. Therefore we tend to listen to each and every one of ours players' opinions and we attempt to incorporate all the appropriate ideas into our server's events and lore. Another thing to mention is that we are near vanilla, only using Essentials for /back and nicknames, dynmap, and PermissionsEX for easy access to staff.
    Rules
    1. Common sense. (No griefing, keep language and caps to a minimum.)
    2. No murder. Friendly PvP where BOTH parties are involved, and have given their consent are absolutely fine. During times of war, if you die, you are required to NOT go back and fight.
    3. No informally proclaiming yourself someone who your not, i.e. do not be someone your not.
    4. Rules are more formally list and updated and can be seen on the site, which will be linked below somewhere.

    Otherwise this one the best mods i have gotten. I have a few that i like better, because they are in 1.7, no offence.

    If you'd care to read the first page/ a few pages back, you'd understand that a lot of the features are currently broken, and are being reworked and fixed. No Pity on this soul.

    I am too also experiencing significant FPS drops when going near these under water dungeons. I like them alot, but they definitely need more loot considering the ratio of the gold blocks in the center compared to all the Guardians, plus the two Guardian Elders.

    It'd be cool if the guardians over time aged into Guardian Elders as well.

    Well hello, today I'm presenting an idea that I've been piecing together in my mind for quite some time. The main idea of the mod is lineages and reincarnation. Basically, I'll organize this into two sections for the Lineage and Reincarnation ideas, as they both take up a lot of time and though space. The two ideas are meant to work with forge, and as one mod.


    (Lineage Mod overview) Every since breeding came into place back in around beta 1.8, we've been able to, well breed, mobs and breed their children and so forth. Minecraft has also accumulated a few pets that are breed able as well, such as the horse, wolf, and cat. The mod will add a few new items, the Lineage book, and a pen. The lineage book can be crafted by using a Book and Quill and a pen, and upon right clicking a mob that has been bred (the offspring of two mobs), it will display a GUI with the 'family tree' or lineage, of the said mob. The pen can also be crafted as well, using an inc sac, a feather, and golden nugget, in any order. The pen is used to craft the lineage book. The crafting recipe for the Lineage book is below.     I've designed a way for the GUI of the lineages to look like;

    As mentioned earlier, upon right clicking a mob, (in this case it'd be the mob at the end of the lineage), it'll bring up a GUI titled 'Lineage of MOB", if the mob is named, it would appear as "Lineage of Bob the Pig". This little mod could keep track of 'ancestors' of mobs, and provides a nice RPG feel. Now, onto the reincarnation idea!

    In the reincarnation part of the mod, mobs that are named, with a nametag, can be reincarnated. Upon the named mobs death, they'll drop a "Spirit Pot" (). You'd breed two mobs, but instead of using wheat, seeds, carrots, or whatever on the second mob your breeding, you'd use the dropped Spirit Pot, and the baby they produce will be 'born' with the name and traits of the original mob. Here's an example: Your wolf named White Fang dies by a creeper, it drops a Spirit Pot. You don't have any more wolves, but you do have two pigs. You right click one pig with a carrot, and another with a Spirit Pot, they'll breed, and instead of a pig baby, it'll be a wolf baby named White Fang. This enables other mobs to enter lineages, instead of it being strictly one type of mob. I don't know if it's possible to have two mobs breed and produce a completely different mob, but if not the same type of mob breeding will be fine. This reincarnation aspect can also be taken to a whole new level: Upon placing a Spirit pot into the crafting table, the product yielded will be a "Spiritual Essence" The Spiritual Essence is a special item that is used to randomly reincarnate your passed on mob. By right clicking the ground, a bolt of lightning will hit strike the ground, and the item in your hand will disappear, the Spiritual Essence of the mob will spawn a mob with the exact same name as your passed on mob, as a baby, within 1000 blocks of your current location, to the west. It'll already be tamed(if possible) and cannot despawn.

    All feed back for this request/idea is welcomed! (I know these textures aren't the best, I'm just trying to get the point out there!) All mod creators capable of creating this are also welcomed, I do not want to post this under my name, but to just be able to see these ideas come to life!

    They do no not need any one to test out Dev snapshots, they're perfectly capable of doing that themselves. Another thing is they have a great modeler and texturer. And finally, if you know literally NOTHING about coding then you don't belong on a team that creates mods. Sorry but its the truth.

    I can see your point, but using a mod creates something than regular servers don't have. Taking a few extra seconds to install a mod, and with the new MC launcher, it's easy to switch between modded and non modded jars. Sometimes plain old vanilla can get boring, and we look to mods to enhance our experience, which is what is basically happening happening here.

    Your age: I am 14 years old. When most people hear that age in the community, they either think of a troll, or a wannabe youtuber looking to make some cash. I am very mature, and when it comes to owning a server I am very professional. Not to be arrogant, but I've been told in the past that I am a great server owner, and that I am doing a fine job.

    Name of proposed server: Spacecraft: Revival is the name of the proposed server. I have owned two servers in the past, Spacecraft, and Spacecraft II, both shut down due to host related problems. Spacecraft: Revival is the revival of the Spacecraft community and the server it self, hence the "revival" in the name.

    How much RAM you want: Not to sound to pushy, but I do want the player base to have a large map to infinitely explore, considering the new biome update that was just released, so I'd say 2GB of Ram would be good to start off, but I am willing to negotiate and go lower, and or higher. I am flexible when it comes to this.

    How many player slots: The original Spacecraft was intended to be a small server, with only 20 player slots, but as the community grew, the number of slots had to be expanded. To be safe, I'd say 25 player slots would be a good amount of player slots to start off with. I don't have plans for this server to be enormous.

    Describe your server idea: The original Spacecraft was a survival server, but Spacecraft II turned into more of an RPG-ish themed server, for Spacecraft: Revival, I plan on having the mod, Fossil & Archaeology: Revival, installed to add another fun aspect to the game. I also plan on to utilize bukkit, and survival mode to make the server more challenging, realistic (to a certain extent), and enjoyable for all sorts of age groups. The central spawn will be a town in which there is various shops (including player owned shops), information boards, plugin related information regarding commands and help, and other things such as how the mod works. Utilizing PermissionsEX, which I am very familiar with, I will create a rank system in which players can strive to become higher ranked, and a ranking system in which player limited to certain permissions, for instance, a new player may not be able to tpa to other players until they've been ranked up by staff. This prevents any spammers, greifers, or hackers to do intensive damage to builds in the server. With the survival and fossil combination, players can have fun, yet challenging time on the server.

    Why you want this server: After the two Spacecrafts shutdown, I was left playing on various servers. Owning a server was a great way to teach responsibility, dedication, and friendship. I look to own a new server because I want to create an unforgettable experience utilizing the mod, and bukkit. Spacecraft deserves another chance to live and to grow once again, and I intend to give Spacecraft that right to prosper once again.

    On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want the server?: On a scale from 1-10, I would say 10 is how much I want the server, I really want to make this dream a reality, and I have full intentions of doing so.

    Proposed Plugins: There are a few types of plugins that are crucial to the server's survival; World Edit, World Guard, Essentials, MySQL, LogBlock, PermissionsEX, Factions, Vault, Chestshop, BOSEconomy, TreeAssist, and Autorank. Are the plugins that I can think of. These are all contributing to the server's survival.

    Do you already have a community? If so, how many active players? If not, how will you be getting players?: After the shutdown of Spacecraft and Spacecraft II, many of our once loyal players left. I know of at least 4 loyal players who can help me spread the word of the server, via advertising here on the forums, and on Planet Minecraft. I don't plan to spam my server through YouTube comments, but I plan to respectfully advertise my server on the appropriate sites.

    What makes your server special? Why should I join your server instead of that other server?: My server will unique because it provides a different, unique, experience. Not a lot of popular servers are modded, most of them create a small quiet experience. We will try to create a greif, raid, free environment where players can have access to a responsible staff that can handle problems.

    Is there a reason why you can't pay for this server?: Yes, there is; I was lucky to be able to purchase a Minecraft account using accumulated money from birthdays, and Christmas. My parents do not like me spending my money online.
