Calm down. Just because Minecraft's graphics have a retro styling does not mean that you can run the game on a Commodore 64. Minecraft will make a computer work just as hard, and in some cases harder than, many other contemporary games.
Please provide your DxDiag log.
Please make sure you are using 64-bit Java, if you are on a 64-bit machine.
Please also make sure the nVidia card is rendering Minecraft, and not the integrated HD graphics provided by Intel. The problem is just usually incorrect settings.
EDIT: Actually, just forget it after a post like that I'm pretty sure it's going to be quicker and less infuriating to figure it out myself than rely on a guy who can't tell the difference between a Commodore 64 and a latest gen set of hardware.
