Jun 29, 2011Spanone posted a message on 1.8 Updates: Textures & MoreThe new blocks are pistons.Posted in: News
The thing near pistons with a hole is the texture for the piston face of an extended piston block.
The new item is shears.
That's it...that's all that is new. - To post a comment, please login.

Basically when set up in the same orientation (Facing same direction) it would not work in +X +Z area.
This is probably just what somebody said about the southwest rule or whatever, but I don't understand what that means.

I actually discovered this in the newest screenshot, so it DEFINITELY works. Also, I made another discovery. Because this changes the damage value it can be used to make blocks of the same type that won't stack! So like 2 seemingly identical log blocks, but one actually has a data value of 11.

So maybe it is a combination of a block update and a power loss that causes the strange stuff?

I don't really understand how it works, but I definitely have been able to get a brown wool from trying various water combinations.

How do you make the ones to do cauldrons/fence gates?

I THINK where it ends up, but I honestly don't understand this very well.
